@WallStreetApes "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat." (2 Thessalonians 3:10, KJV)
Alina Habba would have been one of the best US Atty's this country's ever had
But, Rino Chuck Grassley sided with Andy Kim & Cory Booker to use an unconstitutional blue slip maneuver to block her Appt
He's thinking about running again in (2028)
Time to Cornyn this dirtbag 👇
This is what we're up against. The GOP, or "Republican Party" where the majority of its members CONSISTENTLY vote WITH liberal Democrats AGAINST it's own party platform as well as the will of the voters who placed them into office to begin with (aka, "The SWAMP"), and the DNC, or "Democrat Party" whereas the overwhelming majority its members RARELY vote against its party platform.
Until we rid ourselves of the the wishy-washy self-serving "GOP" members who consistently ignore the will of the Conservative Republican voters who put them in office, nothing is EVER going to change.
Can we just be honest for once?
If EVERY Republican Senator grew a spine and publicly told John Thune:
“We’re not leaving DC, we will NOT gavel in, and we refuse to block President Trump’s recess appointments,” Thune would fold faster than a cheap lawn chair and the entire America First agenda, including the SAVE Act, would actually get passed.
But nah, they won’t.
That’s the most infuriating part. We all know exactly why.
They’d rather protect their precious “collegiality,” keep their lobbyist checks, and play nice with Democrats than unite behind President Trump and pass the laws that "We The People" voted for.
Spineless. Predictable. Pathetic.
For President, the Houston Chronicle endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016, Joe Biden in 2020, and Kamala Harris in 2024.
For the Senate, they also endorsed Robert Francis O'Rourke in 2018, and Colin Allred in 2024 over Ted Cruz, as well as Rick Noriega in 2008, and MJ Hegar in 2020 over John Cornyn.
Needless to say, the Houston Chronicle has a long history of supporting liberal Democrats, and in all honesty, the only Texan's that don't already know that the Houston Chronicle is a leftest rag are the liberals who actually think that it's politically balanced.
Why on earth would a so-called "Conservative Republican" throw his hat into the ring late in the game when another very strong and well known "Conservative Republican" is destroying the weak RINO who only pretends to be a Conservative or Republican during election times, but after his previous elections, goes right back to votes WITH the Democrats 50% of the time? The only logical explanation is that he was a plant to disrupt the primary in order to save the incumbent RINO and force a runoff.
The questions all true Conservatives and real Republicans should be asking is, who put him up to it, and what did he get out of it?
Have any Texas conservative voters realized that Ken Paxton would have won the March primary outright if Wesley Hunt stayed out of the race? Hunt entered the race late in the game and siphoned votes from Paxton. This is an old RNC tactic to force a runoff and then flood the state or district with ads and money to reelect the incumbent. I'd like to know what Hunt got out of the deal.
EPIC BACKFIRE!
Exactly three years ago today I was one of only FOUR Texas House Republicans who had the courage to speak on the floor against the sham impeachment of @KenPaxtonTX.
He will now be the next Senator from Texas.
I'm excited to help him crush Talarico in November.
Nationwide, if anything is ever going to get better, we must get rid of the "Democrats" who are only pretending to be "Republicans" to win elections in conservative areas. Sure, during election times they talk the talk, but their voting records show the truth.
One reason RINOs spent all the money on Cornyn is they needed to protect the myth that Voters are powerless and can't do anything about dirty politicians
Now we know.
We do have the ability to remove incumbents
Patriots we have to try for 2 more major take downs.
We need to unelect Lindsey Graham in South Carolina and Mike Rounds in South Dakota.
Buckle up buttercups. Whose in?
Not one single GOP Senator has spoken out against @LeaderJohnThune .
Not one single GOP Senator has spoken out against the Pro Forma sessions designed to deny Pres Trump of any recess appointments.
What a bunch of spineless RINOs!!
Jeb!'s son, George P. Bush ran against Paxton in the Texas primary for Attorney General. He was the Last Great Hope to take back control of Texas politics. But little Georgie Boy got his ass handed to him 68% to 32%. So the Bush/Rove machine went after Paxton with a vengeance, paying people to try to destroy his personal and political life. They called on favors of many in the Texas House to impeach Paxton, but the Texas Legislature did not remove him from office, as the Texas Supreme Court acquitted him of all charges in his trial where he was represented by the outstanding bulldog attorney, Tony Buzbee.
So today it's Mourning in America for the Bush family and Karl Rove.
I LOVE it.
REP. BRIAN E. HARRISON (R): The real reason John Cornyn lost is because Republican voters are sick of politicians who run as conservatives and then collude with Democrats the second they get to Washington.
@brianeharrison
You all still don’t get it.
Sure, Trump’s endorsement matters but this is much more than that.
The Republican voter is fed up. They keep electing majorities that do nothing.
For examples, 85% of the country wants some form of voter ID and they can’t even pass that.
And the country wants secure borders. And less crime. And less regulation. Etc. This isn’t rocket science.
You all act like Trump just sets an agenda and that’s that. And you couldn’t be more wrong.
Trump ran on an agenda that the country wants. Remove Trump and whoever advocates that same agenda will take his place.
This is where the Republican Party lost its way. Ultimately, you still must do what your voters want.
Anyone thinking that when Trump leaves office that the Republican Party of Bush, McConnell, McCain, Ryan, et al will return is completely delusional.
That you brand yourself as a pollster and political analyst and still can’t grasp this is incredible.
Van Jones is really crying that Trump “betrayed” a “decent, honorable man” in John Cornyn. 🤯
You know when a CNN liberal starts calling a Republican Senator “decent and honorable,” that’s your sign he’s been playing for the other team the whole time.
24 years in DC will do that!! Zero urgency while Big Tech censored conservatives, trillions vanished into endless spending, and America First priorities got buried under layers of institutional BULLSHIT!
Texas just told that swamp furniture to pack it up and sent a real fighter, Ken Paxton, to the Senate instead.
The left’s tears are the best endorsement Paxton could ask for. If liberals are defending your guy, he was never really ours to begin with.
Good riddance, you corrupt fossilized dinosaur. Texas just put you in the retirement home where you belong. 🇺🇸
@GuntherEagleman Sadly, they won't! Just like @JohnCornyn, they're self-serving, and they think that they're completely immune to the consequences of ignoring the will of the voters who put them in office to begin with.
So funny to see some of those Bush-wing Republicans, who demand “unity” from the rest of us, are re-upping the social media claims they will be voting for a radical leftist in the name of their “principles.”
“Principles over party” has become code for “no principles.”
"“Talarico isn’t Texan” says the people who tuck their jeans into their boots lol".
While I can't speak for anybody other than myself, but that statement sure sounds like a homophobic remark due to the fact that @ScottPresler is openly gay. However, contrary to what liberal Democrats and the fake news constantly claim, TRUE Conservatives, and REAL Republicans don't give a crap about stuff like that.
Scott Presler is awesome at what he does, and THAT is fighting for Conservative causes, and getting the people off of their couches, informed, and out to vote. The TRUE conservative Republicans (MAGA crowd) here in Texas are very appreciative of his effort, and wish we had a hundred more just like him!
