Birthday sio mbaya. Sina shida na cake, balloons ama mtoto kufurahia siku yake. Lakini kabla ugeuze classroom ikae venue ya ruracio, kuna vitu nataka ujue.

Administration hawaezi kataa juu wanataka clients wao wakue happy. Lakini sisi ndio tuko ground. Sisi ndio tunabaki na consequences.

Kwanza, birthday ya mtoto mmoja huleta excitement kwa dakika 20 na drama ya wiki mbili.

Mtoto mmoja akiletewa cake, kesho mwingine anauliza mbona yeye hajawai letewa. Mwingine anarudi home akiwa convinced wazazi wake hawampendi. Sasa mwalimu anajipata akifundisha Mathematics na family therapy wakati mmoja.

Ndindi Nyoro is one of the most hypocritical figures in Kenyan politics!! The only reason this statement exists is because Kenyans saw right past the BS.

What we are witnessing here is HYPOCRISY and STUPIDITY of the highest order. You cannot spend years cultivating the image of an alternative voice, positioning yourself as the intellectual conscience of government, then disappear when the moment of accountability arrives.

And then return with a carefully crafted statement about humility, patriotism and service.

We are being asked to believe that there was something more important than one of the most consequential votes affecting the lives of millions of Kenyans. There wasn’t.

Nothing was more important than that vote.

Eugene Mutuku was a final year student at KMTC Yata(Matuu). He was set to graduate this year. As part of the course requirement he was expected to be on attachment these few months.

He had just started his attachment on Tuesday this week at a hospital in Kasarani. That's where he was headed to on Thursday when a matatu conductor threw him from a moving NICCO SACCO bus registration number KDV 713J. He was thrown to the tarmac and he was run over.

A good Samaritan quickly picked the injured Eugene who has writhing in pain. As he was rushing him to hospital he found the same bus at garden estate picking passengers. He told them he had the passenger they threw to the tarmac.

He wanted them to take him to hospital but they were unbothered. Instead they told him they will go to the police station to report.

The good Samaritan ended up with Eugene at KNH where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

Yesterday in Parliament, the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Aden Duale, failed to assure the country that the government’s decision‑making on the Ebola question is within the law and fully under control. The Constitution demands both legality and respect for court orders and public participation.

Listening to him, the message is clear, the court will have its say but the executive will enforce their way.

When a High Court has already issued conservatory orders suspending an Ebola‑related facility, any suggestion that the Executive can press on regardless converts being within the law into a slogan to justify disobedience. Constitutional obedience is not optional and it is not subject to administrative convenience.

Kenyans are entitled to clear, honest answers. Who authorised these arrangements, on what legal basis and with what safeguards for public health and sovereignty? Dismissing concerns as mere alarm while sidestepping these questions undermines public trust in both the Ministry of Health and Parliament’s oversight role.

The right to health under Article 43 must be read together with Articles 10, 94, 95 and 165 on constitutionalism, public participation and the authority of the courts. You cannot promote public health by eroding the very legal framework that protects Kenyans from arbitrary executive action.
