Dobes 19-5-4, 42 pts out of a possible 56 pts, or 75% of possible pts. If Dobes played every game at that pace, #gohabsgo would be 1st in the NHL.
In other words, if his name was Dubois instead of Dobes, we’d be in 1st place.
@thesickpodcasts@TonyMarinaro#truth
@mndamico Greaves
76 gp 2.61 gaa .913 sv%
Dobes
59 gp 2.77 gaa .904 sv%
Askarov
63 gp 3.46gaa .887sv%
I wouldn’t put Dobes or Greaves names in the same “contract comparaison” conversation as Celebrini… so I am DEFINITELY not putting Askarov’s contract in the same conversation as Mac.
@thesickpodcasts Stats don’t lie.
The problem wasn’t defence, it was goaltending.
Project 75 & 32 for a full 82 game season, the Habs would’ve been #2 in goals against (2.68) and #3 for Save% (.903).
35 was THAT bad for us last season.
I would “like” to add a top4 RHD, but not a priority.
@xwleblancx Hage @ 18: 13-21-34 in 35gp
Fantilli @ 18: 30-35-65 in 36gp
Hage @ 19: NCAA
Fantilli @ 19: NHL
The chances Hage is better than Fantilli are kinda slim. possible,but slim
Us Habs fans need to cool it down a notch with our own prospects. Hage is going to be good, but how good?
@StuCowan1 Coach Mitchell coached me for one game “back in the day”… he was the head coach at Selwyn House, and coached me when I was chosen to participate in a high school all star game at the Aud in Verdun.
I hope he’s doing well.
@MurphysLaw74 The irony is you claiming racial profiling with a black person committing the offense.
I don’t know if I agree or disagree with you, but I’ve learned long ago that a short internet video often doesn’t tell the whole story.
Of all the contracts handed out on July1, the guy I was truly happiest for was Noah Juulsen. Incredibly unlucky with injuries at the beginning of his pro career, I really thought he’d be an NHLer with big upside in a shutdown role.
@NYRangers@TonyMarinaro He won’t be the deciding factor in a Rangers cup run, but fans in MTL loved his season here. He’s not a point producer, but he brings other things to the rink.
I think you’ll find more of us disappointed that he’s leaving, than not.
