I believe the calling of so many of us activists / campaigners that never leaves you, is to leave the world to be a better more equal place than when you entered it. In your own way, making the world a more equal, better and more progressive place, for future generations.
I am a proud feminist and I know a lot of wonderful men in my life who are to and treat me always as their full equal. But us women are not equal to all men in the world, we just want the same that men have, the same rights and freedoms and respect, thats all its not hard.
If the great kind feminist men in my life can treat me as an equal, why can’t all men? The men I know and care for don’t find it difficult it’s easy and requires little effort.
It’s crazy to me how most governments politicians leaders society in general never seem to learn from the mistakes of their past, they just repeat them over and over again in different ways calling them different names.
Then somehow trying to justifying those mistakes never taking responsibility or fully apologising. That would be admiting they did something wrong that they are at fault, instead they blame something or somebody else.
When will this vicious dangerous cycle end, how will it end.
I don’t get how any man be can sexist when they literally were brought into this this world by a woman and owe a woman their life..? Therefore how can all men not be feminists it’s crazy it doesn’t make any sense. #WomensRights#sexism
After my relative self imposed radio silence for a while, I have decided after seeing all the hideous injustice committed against innocent normal people around the world at the moment, I cant take it anymore I have to try in my own very small way to speak out to do something.
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.” - #MartinLutherKingJr#injustice
I thinks its very important to remember this motto from @BoschAmazon @michaelconnely which is "everybody counts or nobody counts", when raising awareness or highlighting etc any issues in society. We have to fight for everyones rights not just some peoples.
Isn't it crazy and horrible how the majority of the worst discrimination in the world/society is to do with what someone looks like, what they have between their legs how they use it and who they use it with. All things predetermined in the womb, which we have no say over.
