@Dashspantry @dmfa1991 Umm I am not so sure - the D CS angle was a pretty uninspiring story arc and (seems) a repeat of A&G (but worse due to A&D’s friendship which was not a problem with the Gerald s/L - I am more and more moving to the view that they are running out of ideas 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

@Dashspantry @dmfa1991 Agree the bf is where I struggle a grown man moving from affair with one BFF to the other is tasteless & it would have to impact their friendship - unrealistic otherwise - so i surmise that the showrunners have decided to kill off S&A as a couple completely in the series

@JulesMangoFilm Thanks ! - I very much expect scenes that I will struggle to watch but for me those very scenes will put an end to S&A - Siegfried having an affair with one adult woman BF then moving on to the other BF is just not for me - being similar ages to Aud & D that is just off

I go back through all the PR and it was not the fans who were delusionally seeing what was not there - that is what makes me angry - they seem to be now taking a position of blaming the fans for their S&A view….

@SuzanneFlink @twelvepeas it was not the fans who went there (although some of us saw it from the first ep but I for one thought that was just me and a few others) but their s/l’s (more than in S6) were quite blatant & their own PR led many who had not thought that so it feels manipulation? Or just odd.

@DashnJess2297 @Vivamorla I find it interesting (not) how they have changed the narrative in the media - to “some” fans whereas definitely in 2025 the media narrative was “many” fans..a subtle but foreboding change especially as their PR and S/L were so blatant last year - now making us out as weirdos

@DashnJess2297 @SuzanneFlink I think her name was Caroline not Susan and interestingly apart from the couple of episodes she came into was never seen again (that I can remember) but by the time S married the old flame Mrs Hall had gone (and of course was a minor and elderly character) so it Is pretty random

@DashnJess2297 @GolfcartMozart @SuzanneFlink Very icky - surprisingly the female producers don’t seem to realise how off sleeping with one best friend to move to the other is to many women..unless it is all to put to rest any S&A romance - at all ??? I can’t see how A&D can stay besties if he moves from one to the other ?
