The persecution is only going to increase!
Brethren, mark it well: as the days darken and Israel’s redemption draws nigh, the hatred and persecution against God’s people—both Jew and true Christian—will intensify like never before. The world, the flesh, and the devil are raging, just as the Scriptures warned.
But fear not! Stand fast in the faith, occupy till He comes, and keep your eyes on the Blessed Hope. The remnant will soon be removed, and our Redeemer is at the door!
“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer...” (Revelation 2:10) — the victory is already won in Christ Jesus!
WHAT IF SATAN HAD SUCCEEDED?
"The promises of God are not affected by man's failures."— Charles Spurgeon
Behind every empire, genocide, exile, and attempt to erase Israel, Scripture reveals an unseen war.
Revelation 12:4 pulls back the curtain and shows a dragon waiting to devour the promised Child.
From Genesis to Revelation, Satan's strategy has remained remarkably consistent: destroy the Seed, destroy the nation, destroy the Messiah.
But Satan's objective was never merely to destroy people.
His objective was to make God a liar.
If the Seed never came, God lied.
If Israel disappeared forever, God lied.
If Messiah remained in the grave, God lied.
If Satan could break even one promise, God's Word could not be trusted.
Yet Scripture declares:
"God, who cannot lie..."
(Titus 1:2)
Every attack was doomed from the beginning.
🌱 1. DESTROY THE PROMISED SEED
The battle began in Eden.
God declared:
"He shall bruise your head..."
(Genesis 3:15)
Satan immediately attacked the line through which the Deliverer would come.
Cain murdered Abel.
Before the Flood, corruption engulfed the earth.
Athaliah attempted to exterminate David's royal descendants (2 Kings 11).
Herod slaughtered Bethlehem's children (Matthew 2:16).
Each attack targeted the Messianic line.
Each attack failed.
Why?
Because God had already spoken:
"The scepter shall not depart from Judah."
(Genesis 49:10)
"I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever."
(2 Samuel 7:13)
The promised Seed would come.
And Satan could not stop Him.
✡️ 2. DESTROY ISRAEL
If Satan could not stop the Seed directly, perhaps he could eliminate the nation through whom the Seed would come.
Pharaoh ordered the death of Hebrew baby boys.
Israel appeared trapped at the Red Sea.
Balak hired Balaam to curse God's people.
Haman sought the extermination of every Jew in the Persian Empire.
The attacks changed.
The objective did not.
Yet Balaam was forced to confess:
"How can I curse those whom God has not cursed?"
(Numbers 23:8)
Why did Israel survive?
Because God had sworn:
"I will bless those who bless you."
(Genesis 12:3)
"He who touches you touches the apple of His eye."
(Zechariah 2:8)
"The LORD has chosen Jacob for Himself."
(Psalm 135:4)
The covenant nation could not disappear because the covenant itself could not fail.
👑 3. DESTROY THE MESSIAH
Having failed to stop the line and failed to destroy the nation, Satan confronted the Messiah Himself.
In the wilderness he offered Jesus a crown without a cross.
Three times Jesus answered:
"It is written."
Then came Calvary.
Judas betrayed Him.
Religious leaders condemned Him.
Rome crucified Him.
Hell must have celebrated.
Yet the cross became Satan's greatest miscalculation.
"Having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them."
(Colossians 2:15)
Why did Satan fail even there?
Because centuries earlier God had declared:
"He was pierced for our transgressions."
(Isaiah 53:5)
"You will not abandon me to the realm of the dead."
(Psalm 16:10)
The crucifixion was not Satan's victory.
It was God's plan all along.
🌍 4. DESTROY ISRAEL AFTER THE CROSS
Even after Christ's resurrection, the attacks continued.
Rome destroyed Jerusalem.
The Temple fell.
The Jewish people were scattered.
Then came centuries of persecution, expulsions, and hatred.
Finally, the Holocaust.
Six million Jews were murdered in humanity's darkest genocide.
Satan attempted to turn the Jewish people into a memory.
Instead, the world witnessed one of the greatest prophetic signs in history.
Three years later, Israel was reborn.
"Can a nation be born in a day?"
(Isaiah 66:8)
The answer was yes.
Why?
Because God had already promised:
"I will gather you from all the countries."
(Ezekiel 36:24)
"The gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable."
(Romans 11:29)
"I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted."
(Amos 9:15)
The covenant remained.
⚔️ 5. THE FUTURE ATTACK
The war is not over.
After failing to destroy the Child, the dragon turns his fury toward the woman—Israel.
"The dragon was enraged with the woman."
(Revelation 12:17)
The same adversary who opposed Israel in Egypt, Persia, Rome, and Europe continues his war against God's covenant purposes.
Yet even during the Tribulation, God preserves Israel according to His plan (Revelation 12:6, 14).
The dragon pursues.
God protects.
The pattern never changes.
🔥 6. THE FINAL FAILURE
Scripture says Satan will make one final attempt.
The nations will gather against Jerusalem.
The Beast will rise.
The dragon will rage.
Yet Revelation has already revealed the outcome.
Why will Satan fail again?
Because God has already declared:
"The LORD has chosen Zion."
(Psalm 132:13)
"I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem."
(Zechariah 12:9)
"His feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives."
(Zechariah 14:4)
"The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Messiah."
(Revelation 11:15)
The outcome is settled.
Armageddon will not be a close battle.
It will be the final demonstration that God keeps His promises.
For thousands of years Satan has tried to stop God's plan.
📜 Satan attacked the Seed.
The Seed came.
✡️ Satan attacked the nation.
The nation remains.
👑 Satan attacked the King.
The King reigns.
And soon, the King returns.
"The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this."
(Isaiah 9:7)
The Bible is not the story of Satan's victories.
It is the story of God's faithfulness.
Amen. 🙏❤️🇫🇷
