I regret a lot of things, including not going to Varsity and not leaving my ex wife sooner... BUT being a member and a die hard supporter of Julius Malema from when he was in the ANC has to be 1 of my greatest and biggest regrets and shame. In December I will slaughter a goat to cleanse myself off of the EFF.. Yeeeer
South Africa needs to do some serious soul-searching. The question before us is not simply whether procedures were broken, but whether our institutions have become so hollowed out that they can be wielded as political weapons. How did politicians know about an arrest warrant of General Masemola in advance, when we can now see, with the benefit of hindsight, that it was defective and driven by improper motives?
That prior knowledge cannot be dismissed as a coincidence. It raises a deeply troubling possibility: that the warrant was never a good-faith legal instrument, but a political hit job dressed in legal robes—procured precisely to be leaked, precisely to inflict maximum reputational harm. If that is true, we are not dealing with an isolated lapse, but with the weaponisation of law enforcement, where state power is deployed not to serve justice, but to make way for the criminal syndicates so that they can thrive and to deal with political opponents.
That kind of rot does not grow overnight. It thrives where oversight is weak, where public trust is taken for granted, and where silence is mistaken for consent. The soul-searching South Africa needs is a collective reckoning with what we have allowed to become normal—the casual abuse of process, the blurring of the line between state and faction, and the quiet acceptance that power protects itself. We must ask not only who leaked what to whom, but why so many are willing to look away.
I hope you watched the Madlanga Commission today.
@News24 MKP will still win most metros in KZN, in SA we don't vote on policy or how the party is ran. People will vote for uBaba. This party should be dead and buried by now, reshuffles and dismissals all the time. Zero order and a stable structure
Gents, the minute you pick up red flags just walk away, you can never save a damaged woman. So many South African women are just too broken and you will be used as a scapegoat. Many brothers are falling victims to the streets for trying to save broken women. RUN
