The state, in a twisted bit of irony, had to pay me a fine for how they've treated me (thank FUCK I got someone who knows how to poke holes in beaurocracy), and ONE WORD meant the difference between having to pay the fine to another instance or getting the windfall. (good ending)

When I had to quit university this year and had to go into benefits to survive... I lost all ability to catch anyone.

Because I'm disabled and on benefits (not disability, because fuck), it's literally impossible for me to even host anyone for any amount of time, let alone marry them (to provide asylum), as "living together" slashes the money I get and I'd be homeless and starving in an instant.
