@wheatus AI can be a wonderful tool when used appropriately. For example, a band using guitar amp profiling computer software in their touring live rig ๐ค๐
@WeWatchedAMovie True or not, it is as legitimate of a claim as the molestation. Any previous bias or opinion has to be eliminated in a trial, as frustrating as that may be
@WeWatchedAMovie Sure, and he did(over $500m). And people like you and I would never consider that appropriate. That behaviour was attributed to arrested emotional development. Whether or not thatโs accurate is anybodyโs guess
@WeWatchedAMovie I guess itโs nuanced, and the answers will probably never be fully revealed. For arguments sake, if he was completely innocent do you think he should allow the negative actions of some prevent him from still trying to do his perceived good deeds?
@WeWatchedAMovie Thatโs a fair enough stance. Not saying his choices are ones I would make, for sure. Like I say, if it gets proven then heโd get the Ian Watkins treatment
@WeWatchedAMovie The assumption being who the victim is. Happy for either argument to be proven right, but donโt believe an allegation is always the truth.
@WeWatchedAMovie I did say allegedly, not definitely. 13 years of FBI investigation failing to provide any physical or forensic evidence is the main focus point for me
@WeWatchedAMovie The kid also refused to testify in a criminal case, only civil. All other cases he was proven not guilty in heavily investigated criminal cases. As much as I enjoy his music, if there was a conviction Iโd never listen again
@WeWatchedAMovie He settled because it would have cost considerably more money, and hundreds of peopleโs jobs, if he had to cancel his tour to fight it. The kid allegedly admitted his dad coerced him into lying after he died, and then the dad killed himself not long after
