Support Watford FC, former board member of supporters trust. Privileged to witness both GT eras. Like theatre & steam railways. Remembering dad, Brian Thomas
The 2 greatest men to influence me. Together they taught me about love, respect, values, trying to do the right thing & working hard to achieve it. I hope you put the world to rights in @hornet_heaven Thank you with all my heart.

@WatfordFC On this very sad day, I think that my personal reflection on the importance of Kenny Jacket the player is that I always considered his absence from the 1987 FA Cup semi final to have been the major factor in our defeat that day - goalkeeper issues not withstanding. A true Hornet
@WatfordFC Condolences to all the family. Kenny, you were a Watford man through & through but also served others with quiet distinction. You are missed by your Watford family but will remain in our hearts.
@WatfordFC The magic feeling that we were going to win & be back to top flight after nearly being relegated. The roar when we scored the third & knew it was reality. Belting out βWeβve got Marlon Kingβ at the top of our voices coming away from stadium. Being there with my Dad - best of all.
@Observer_Owl It would be easy for West Herts club to reserve a certain amount of spaces for gym club users, but probably around 90% of cars on a match day are WFC supporters.
@Observer_Owl Told by gate staff itβs because they will open paddle ball & can make approx Β£50 hour 7 days. Itβs a real problem as it pushes many fans out of a safe & secure parking facility into town, already congested & very βunfriendlyβ for motorists, especially those coming some distance.
@androofrench@hornetboy84 Millwall was very confusing as we suddenly started playing long balls giving LK no chance, especially not where he is in his development. Quick passes and fast wingers was the way to play, & I think most of us whoβve watched thousands of games would see that.
@androofrench@hornetboy84 However we are in a good position still & have a chance of play-offs if we can find our rhythm again. Garcia Iβm sure very frustrated. Not the point you made of course, but there are some very negative people on X who will jump on any tiny setback as doomsday.
@androofrench@hornetboy84 Gracia probably unable to see past these issues, as in my experience managers / coaches often canβt stand back to take in wider view. Often means not seeing some fairly obvious things. Also over blessed with wide players & trouble in finding best way to utilise them
@DearEnglandPlay Great piece of theatre & really moving, portraying not just the emotions of football but tackling (no pun intended) how a group of (largely) men work to bond together as a true team. Brilliantly staged and performed. @MKTheatre
@RoyalMail Can you please explain why you are failing in your obligations to deliver letters in Milton Keynes. Itβs been over 3 weeks & people are missing critical post. You are letting down your customers. @mkcouncil@mk_citizen@emily4MK@BBC3CR
#WatfordFC itβs 5 years today since my Dad entered @hornet_heaven and you are so missed. Sending my best wishes to anyone out there whoβs grieving or remembering a loved one.
