What I like in the "Silent Protagonist from Nowhere" trope in #gaming is assuming they could be anyone. You can play like a Good Hero or a Genocidal Psycho Cleptomaniac and it would still make sense all the same, unlike with a full voiceover and rigid AAA backstory.
