NATO expansion and the West’s promise of eventual Ukrainian membership helped create the security tensions that preceded Russia’s invasion. That doesn’t excuse Putin’s decision to invade—but pretending NATO policy played no role is dishonest.

Canadians have already sent billions. With the war dragging on and diplomacy stalled, Ottawa should stop writing blank cheques and push for a negotiated peace. Canadians deserve an endgame—not endless war.

Do not let carney send more of our taxpayers dollars to Ukraine. This lack of fiscal responsibility is extremely upsetting to many Canadians I have talked with over the summer.

Canada has enough problems that are not being dealt with including understaffed law enforcement, lack of drug addiction facilities, and a need for more correctional facilities to keep criminals locked up as opposed to being granted early parole because there is not enough space.

Let’s hope we can maintain peace despite our government screwing Canadians over, as most Canadians are not seeing the bigger picture. $26B going to Ukraine. We are being aligned with China and when Russia makes more bold moves on NATO territory after the US pulls out, where will all the European refugees flood to…Canada. Watch and wait as this will play out in the coming years. This is how Dominic Barton and carney want to achieve the century initiative. War creates refugees.
