and to hear modern speech from dansim,clearly indicating the soul swap was a nice touch.

This is just my personal opinion, but I think the Joseon arc shouldn't have had any impact on the present except for the swap. Having parallels is fine, but interconnected them made it messy.

I think the soul swapping for years is kinda messed up and somewhat unfair for both. I wish the drama could've showed us Dan-sim's pov too. How she try to fit in modern era when they swapped until Seo-ri got back to her OG body.

If this is really soul swapping, the sad thing about this story is that grandma spent more time with Dan-sim than the real Seo-ri. She raised Seo-ri, but it was Dan-sim who took care of her. She was her granddaughter as much as Seo-ri.
