Rohingya in Maungdaw are ordered by AA to leave the thier respective villages . But the question is to leave where ? Border is closed, asking Rohingya to cross the border is not an option . The route to Buthudaung is closed. The question is "Where they should go?"

Rohingya collectively need to reject the junta proposing to take arms against AA and we must be politically wise not to fall in the trap of brutal Military. Our collective interests should be to end the military dictatorship in Arakan and the whole Myanmar once and for all. Rohingya must come together in this critical situation to stand firmly on the right side of history and work in creating stepping for reconciliation and dialogue at the political level ensuring equality, justice and prosperity for everyone.
🎙️@waiwainu on #GenocideConvention w/ @StateDept_GCJ: "#Rohingya, victims & survivors of #genocides, could be in a situation sometimes they find extremely challenging to stand up for themself.
It's important to support victim & survivor-led initiatives."https://t.co/AxUAn5I7dA

So sad to see, suffering is never ended for those poor people in the camps.
Praying for them for any life saving assistances from International community and looking forward for the durable solution for them. 😢😢😢
Indonesia has been an example of humanity in accepting the Rohingya, and in many others issues even beyond even ASEAN sometimes. We will be ever grateful to Indonesia 🇮🇩 for upholding the principles of humanity. However, there is growing sense of rejection of the Rohingya by the local communities. The footage shared was an incident yesterday where the angry group of local communities attacking the newly arrived Rohingya who are accommodated separately (hidden) by the government. This level of anger and hatred cannot be organic one but rather motivated and fuel by external parties.
A regional coordinated effort is required to tackle Rohingya boat crisis strategically and effectively. Indonesia 🇮🇩 should be given necessary support by international community and comprehensive frame work needs to be developed to promote tolerance and social cohesion in Ache and beyond. We appreciate the recent announcements of funding of 2.7 millions USD by US government. OIC countries need to step forward by putting humanity first.
UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is deeply disturbed to see a mob attack on site sheltering vulnerable refugee families, majority being children and women, in Indonesia Banda Aceh city. Hundreds of youngsters stormed a building basement on Wed (27 Dec 2023) https://t.co/V97JzCXE15
