@AshleyAthletics softball player Makenna Carter (@MaKennaCarter3) is back to playing this spring after rupturing her PCL last June.

"It was probably one of the scariest moments I've ever had in my life," Carter said of the injury.

After tearing my PCL in June it has been a journey working back. Physical therapy 3 times a week has definitely been paying off. But I can’t wait to be back on the field and playing again. Enjoy everyday you have on the field, you never know when something can happen.

To succeed as an athlete, you need both motivation and a good attitude. One without the other isn’t enough.

[MaKenna Carter 2023 @MaKennaCarter3]

Congrats! You deserve it. Can’t wait to see you do great things 🤍

We finished Scenic City 5-1 and 2nd Place in our Pool.
Score the 2nd most runs (59) out of 90 18U teams. Hit 7 home runs and has a great time. I am above proud of these young ladies and the way they played!
