❗️Europeans viewed Ukraine as a bigger ally than the United States, according to a new ECFR poll covering 15 countries and nearly 19,500 respondents. Only 11% considered the US an ally, down from 16% six months ago and 22% in 2024. Meanwhile, 29% saw Ukraine as an ally and 32% as a necessary partner for strategic cooperation. #Ukraine
In Moscow, for the first time in 23 years, the concert on Red Square for Russia Day has been canceled.
Probably because Zelenskyy didn't allow this one 😁
BREAKING: Trump says the United States will hit Iran “very hard tonight,” adding that “at some point in the not too distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island…and assume total control of their Oil and Gas Markets”
🇪🇺 According to a new poll by @ecfr, only 11% of Europeans now see the US as an ally.
Just 18 months ago, that figure stood at 22%. Europeans are no longer taking American protection for granted.
As trust in Washington declines, support is growing for stronger European defence, more joint investment and less dependence on foreign military capabilities.
The era of comfortable dependence is ending. The era of European power must begin.

Denmark’s PM Mette Frederiksen:
There is a total established link between power, political power, capital, tech giants and AI. And the purpose of this is undermining democracy.
That's the goal because the people who are developing this stuff are against democracy.
I met Sam Altman a couple of years ago. I spent hours with him and at the end of the discussion I said to him, "You have created a monster."
And he said, "Yes, and now it's up to you to find out how to deal with it."
Pope Leo XIV:
I have no fear of the Trump administration or speaking out loudly of the message of the Gospel, which is what I believe I am here to do, what the Church is here to do.
We are not politicians. We don’t deal with foreign policy with the same perspective he might understand it, but I do believe in the message of the Gospel, as a peacemaker.

Reporter: Why did you attack Pope Leo?
Trump: I don’t think he’s doing a very good job. He likes crime I guess. We don’t like a pope who says it’s ok to have a nuclear weapon. We don’t want a pope that says crime is ok. I am not a fan of Pope Leo.
After attacking the Head of the Catholic Church, Pope Leo XIV, in a rambling post earlier tonight for his criticisms of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, President Trump posted this AI image to TruthSocial, portraying himself as Jesus Christ.
🇮🇹❗️🇺🇸 Meloni: "I consider President Trump's words to the Holy Father unacceptable. The Pope is the head of the Catholic Church, and it is quite right and normal that he calls for peace and condemns all forms of war."
Wonderful news!
The UK is moving toward fast-tracking EU regulations into British law, in order to align with the EU single market in key sectors.
This is a major step toward rebuilding closer ties and stronger alignment between the UK and the EU.
Europe is reconnecting 🇪🇺🇬🇧
Zelensky presents Ukraine’s robot soldiers to the world:
“For the first time in the war, an enemy position was captured entirely by ground robotic systems and drones. No infantry. A robot entered the most dangerous area instead of a soldier & captured it”
🇷🇺🇨🇳 In Russia, in the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, hundreds of Chinese workers have reportedly been protesting for a second day over unpaid wages.
They went out into the streets carrying banners, demanding an investigation and payment of their salaries.
Russian social media users are widely outraged that the Chinese workers have not been detained or placed in police vans.
Russians are recalling that any attempt by Russian workers to protest is usually met with harsh dispersal by the National Guard, with “the most outspoken” fined or even imprisoned.
In contrast, Chinese workers are treated differently — police are escorting them, despite the fact that the rally was not authorized by local authorities.
It seems that Chinese workers in Russia have more rights than Russians themselves.
⚡️The EU expects to quickly unblock €90 billion in aid to Ukraine after Orbán’s defeat, Bloomberg reports
In Brussels, officials believe that under a new government Hungary will stop blocking the package, which requires unanimous approval from all EU member states.
