@MakisMedicine @JohnDParody My dog has cancer. They now found a lump that they think is lymphoma. Growing fast. What would the protocol be for ivermectin and fenbendazole? I know I can get ivermectin at the feed store but where can you get the other? She is a Portuguese water dog.

Father, in the name of Jesus, strengthen us in every battle we face. When fear rises, when exhaustion weighs heavy, and when the enemy whispers lies to our hearts, remind us that You are greater than anything standing against us. Help us stand firm in truth, clothed in the full armor of God, with faith that extinguishes every fiery dart of doubt, fear, and discouragement.

Lord, teach us to remain steadfast when life feels uncertain. When we are tempted to quit, give us endurance. When anxiety tries to overtake us, fill us with Your peace. Teach us to pray instead of panic, to worship instead of worry, and to trust You even when we cannot yet see the outcome. Let Your Word become our strength and Your presence become our refuge.

Jesus, thank You that the cross was victory and the resurrection is our hope. Because You overcame, we can overcome. Let every trial produce deeper faith, greater courage, and a stronger testimony of Your faithfulness. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and we place our confidence fully in You. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen

Father, there are moments when life feels confusing, silent, and heavy. We try to understand what You are doing, but Your ways are higher than ours, and sometimes all we can see is the fog in front of us. Yet even here, we choose to trust You.

Teach us to rest in Your character when we cannot trace Your hand. Remind us that You are still good when circumstances are not. You are still faithful when prayers seem unanswered. You are still near when we feel alone.

Lord, give us peace that does not depend on explanations. Give us courage to keep walking when we cannot see the whole road. Help us surrender our need to control every outcome and instead place our lives fully into Your hands.

When fear whispers that You have forgotten us, remind us of the cross. Remind us that a God who gave His Son for us will not abandon us now. Strengthen our hearts to believe that even in the waiting, even in the pain, You are working all things together for good.

Help us trust You in the closed doors, in the delays, in the losses, and in the unknown. Let our faith become deeper than our feelings. Let our obedience become stronger than our doubts.

And when we are too tired to carry ourselves, carry us.

We may not understand the season, but we trust the Shepherd. We may not understand the process, but we trust the Potter. We may not understand the storm, but we trust the One who walks on the waves.

Heavenly Father,

I place my future in Your hands. Though darkness has tried to bring delays and closed doors, I trust that You are the God who makes a way. Open the doors You have ordained for me, remove every obstacle from my path, and lead me into Your perfect will.

Surround my life with Your light and favor. Let no curse, attack, or scheme against me prosper, because my destiny belongs to You. Give me wisdom, peace, and courage to trust You in every season.

Establish my steps, restore what has been lost, and use my life for Your glory.

This is probably the best answer I've ever heard to the question, "Why did God create evil?"

A professor at the university asked his students the following question:

“Everything that exists was created by God?”
One student bravely answered:
“Yes, it was created by God.”

The professor asked :
“If God created everything, then God created evil, since it exists. And according to the principle that our deeds define ourselves, then God is evil.”

The student became silent after hearing such an answer. The professor was very pleased with himself. He boasted to students for proving once again that faith in God is a myth.

Another student raised his hand and said:
“Can I ask you a question, professor?”
"Of course," replied the professor.

“Professor, is cold a thing?”
“What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you ever been cold?”
Students laughed at the young man's question.

The young man answered:
“Actually, sir, cold doesn't exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is actually the absence of heat. A person or object can be studied on whether it has or transmits energy.
Absolute zero (-460 degrees Fahrenheit) is a complete absence of heat. All matter becomes inert and unable to react at this temperature. Cold does not exist. We created this word to describe what we feel in the absence of heat.”

The student continued:
“Professor, does darkness exist?”
“Of course it exists.” said the professor.
“You're wrong again, sir. Darkness also does not exist. Darkness is actually the absence of light. We can study the light but not the darkness. We can use Newton's prism to spread white light across multiple colors and explore the different wavelengths of each color. You can't measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into the world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you tell how dark a certain space is? You measure how much light is presented. Isn't it so? Darkness is a term man uses to describe what happens in the absence of light.”

In the end, the young man asked the professor:
“Sir, does evil exist?”
This time it was uncertain, the professor answered:
“Of course, as I said before. We see him every day. Cruelty, numerous crimes and violence throughout the world. These examples are nothing but a manifestation of evil.”

To this, the student answered:
“Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist for itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is like darkness and cold—a man-made word to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not faith or love, which exist as light and warmth. Evil is the result of the absence of Divine love in the human heart. It’s the kind of cold that comes when there is no heat, or the kind of darkness that comes when there’s no light.”

Father,

You are light, and in You there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). You are pure, holy, and true, and we come before You with reverence and honesty, knowing that nothing is hidden from Your sight.

Lord, we confess that we have not always walked in the light. There have been moments where we have chosen darkness, where we have said one thing and lived another. Your Word says that if we claim to have fellowship with You while walking in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth (1 John 1:6). So today, we choose truth. We step into the light.

Cleanse us, Father. Your Word declares that if we walk in the light as You are in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). Wash over us again. Not just behavior, but heart. Not just actions, but motives.

We confess our sins to You now, Lord, trusting Your promise that You are faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Thank You that forgiveness is not based on our performance, but on Your character. You are faithful. You are just. You are merciful.

Guard us from deception, Father. Keep us from saying we have no sin, because Your Word says that when we do, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us (1 John 1:8). Keep us humble. Keep us aware. Keep us dependent on Your grace.

And thank You, Jesus, that You are our advocate, that Your blood speaks a better word over our lives. Because of You, we are not condemned, we are cleansed. We are not rejected, we are restored.

So today, we walk in the light. We choose truth over comfort, conviction over compromise, and fellowship with You above everything else.

Father,

You see what we often ignore. You search the depths of the heart, where motives are formed and where truth either takes root or is resisted. Your Word says in Proverbs 4:23 to guard our hearts, for from it flow the springs of life. So today, we come before You, not to fix everyone else, but to be made right within ourselves.

Lord, teach us to be honest about what lives inside of us. Where there is pride, humble us. Where there is bitterness, soften us. Where there is hidden sin, expose it with Your light, not to shame us, but to heal us. As Psalm 139 says, search us, O God, and know our hearts. Try us and know our anxious thoughts, and lead us in the way everlasting.

Give us the courage to tend to our own soul before we try to correct the world around us. Keep us from the deception of outward appearance while neglecting inward decay. Let us not be like those who honor You with their lips while their hearts are far from You, but instead, create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.

Teach us to sit with You in the quiet, to allow Your Spirit to convict, refine, and restore.

And Lord, as You transform our hearts, let it overflow into every part of our lives. Let our homes, our relationships, and our influence be shaped not by control or criticism, but by the quiet strength of a heart surrendered to You.

We trust that when You change the heart, You change everything.

Father

Forgive us for knowing what is right and yet choosing what is easy. Forgive us for building our lives on comfort instead of truth, for loving the world more than we love You, for speaking Your name but not walking in Your ways. Cleanse us, Lord, not just outwardly, but deep within. As it is written in Psalm 51, create in us a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within us.

Jesus, You are our only hope. You are not an idea, not a symbol, but the living Son of God who took our sin upon Yourself. You called us to repent and believe, and today we respond. We lay down our rebellion. We lay down our pride. We lay down our excuses. We turn from sin and turn toward You, fully, completely, without reservation.

Holy Spirit, awaken what has been asleep in us. Convict what we have tried to justify. Strengthen what has grown weak. Teach us to hunger again for righteousness, to love what You love, and to hate what You hate. As it says in Joel, let us return to the Lord with all our heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning, not as a performance, but as a genuine surrender.

Lord, restore what has been lost. Restore our homes, restore our churches, restore our nation, not by might or power, but by Your Spirit. Let this not be a moment of emotion, but a turning point of transformation. Mark us as people who walk differently, speak differently, live differently, because we have truly encountered You.

We declare today that You are God, and we are not. You are King, and we bow. Lead us in Your truth. Anchor us in Your Word. Keep us near the cross, where mercy and justice meet.

We turn back to You, Lord, with everything we are.

Father,

We know that apart from You we cannot truly see. Your Word says that the god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, but You, O God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” have shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of Your glory in the face of Jesus Christ.

So today we ask, open our eyes.

As it is written, “Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Your law” (Psalm 119:18). Remove the veil from our hearts. Where we have been distracted, refocus us. Where we have been deceived, correct us. Where we have been hardened, soften us.

Lord, give us eyes to see You clearly, not as we imagine You to be, but as You have revealed Yourself in truth. Let us see Your holiness, Your mercy, Your justice, and Your grace in Christ. Illuminate Your Word by Your Spirit so that it is no longer just words on a page, but life to our souls.

Open our eyes to our own condition, that we would walk in humility and repentance. Search us and know us. Reveal anything in us that is not pleasing to You, and lead us in the way everlasting.

Open our eyes to the world around us. Let us see people the way You see them, not as enemies, but as souls in need of Your mercy. Give us compassion, boldness, and wisdom to walk as light in the midst of darkness.

And Lord, fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Lift our vision above temporary things, above fear, above confusion, above the noise of this world, and set our gaze on eternal truth.

We declare that You are the God who gives sight to the blind. Do what only You can do. Open our eyes, awaken our hearts, and draw us deeper into Your presence.

Declare With Me (Out Loud)
April 8, 2026

Today I declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over my life. He is the Son of God, the Lamb who was slain, and the risen King who reigns forever.

I believe that He died for my sins and was raised for my justification (Romans 4:25). Because of His sacrifice, I am forgiven, I am made new, and I am set free (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I am not condemned, because I am in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). I have been redeemed by His blood and adopted into the family of God (Ephesians 1:7).

Today I stand in righteousness, not by my works, but by His grace (Ephesians 2:8-9).
I am chosen, holy, and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12).

I declare that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead now lives in me (Romans 8:11). I walk in power, in truth, and in victory.

Sin has no dominion over me, because I am captured by grace (Romans 6:14). I am no longer a slave to fear, but a child of God.

I fix my eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith (Hebrews 12:2). My life is hidden with Christ in God, and my future is secure in Him (Colossians 3:3).

I will walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). I will love what He loves, despise what He hates, and live for His glory.

No weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). In all things, I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me (Romans 8:37).

Today I declare:
Jesus is my Savior.
Jesus is my King.
Jesus is my life.

And I will follow Him, boldly and faithfully, all the days of my life.
