The whole world is united in the "stop killing games" movement. Japan would rather let dead games stay dead because of "product rights" or something

If you went to some old school Western video game developer, and you told them that a game they developed 25 years ago (and definitely not being sold anymore) was still being played today. They would be ecstatic. They would definitely be okay with people copying the game.

- Tornade noir A
- Perceuse D'orée

[Terry @TerryHB_]

Both games came out on GOG the same day meaning both could be pirated Day 1 with zero DRM.

Both smashed records just fine.

People are clearly willing to spend money when there is zero nonsense going on with the product

[Bob 🇪🇺 @libobral]

this guy brute-forced font/size/config combinations until he found one that produced an exact pixel match when rendered at low resolution

everyone in the comments is clowning on him for "using ai"

there's no saving some people

[電柱 @denchu_unagi]

[Chef | 🔞🐟 @lordchefmcd]

This "oh well, the company isn't selling it anymore so I can't play it anymore, it can't be helped!" mindset is so weak. Sorry, but your games WILL be preserved, and archived, and remain playable for years.
We will NOT be letting them turn into lost media.
Thank you for releasing the games, but we'll take it from here.

People need to realize that uncensored AI isn't about doing illegal stuff.

It is about protecting your own sovereignty.

If a big company decides what your AI can think or say, you don't really own the tool. They do.
