We proposed pushing beyond 🇪🇺 standards and forging ahead with BEV and H2; however, we slipped in our progress.
Tax reductions for R&D and employment growth already happens; they are asking for more. The companies need to commit to more for more relief.
@GinnyBuckley@Jaguar Public chargers are the reason I have not converted my Defender to BEV. My obsession with hydrogen from a young age has played another part in forging ahead with converting my Defender to solid-state hydrogen storage and fuel cell + an electric motor into existing 4x4 drivetrain.
.@GinnyBuckley, my Dad is in the same position with his @jaguar I-Pace. 60%+ of public chargers are broken.
We had one 40A charger which crashed every electronic system on the I-Pace. We had to leave the vehicle for 15 mins for all of the computers to fully shutdown.
If 🇬🇧 moves towards hydrogen supremacy opposed to battery market, this factory can be transitioned to solid-state hydrogen tanks, fuel cells and super-capacitor production.
JLR has pushed hard in hydrogen development.
@SadiqKhan@MayorofLondon I would like to see Canary Wharf go completely EV along with a hydrogen station.
These are the sorts of major investments we should be making in London.
London’s air quality has dramatically improved. Data shows a 97% decrease in the number of schools in areas with illegal levels of pollution.
I'm delighted with our progress, but there's still a long way to go. That’s why I’m expanding ULEZ in 2021.
Who would have thought a global pandemic would effect CO2 levels?
Everyone, we saw it immediately; @SadiqKhan done nothing to achieve this as @MayorofLondon
Expanding ULEZ will effect the poorest and force them onto public transport reducing their travel options.

Goldsmith’s University in London is removing all beef products from sale and charging a 10p levy on plastic bottles and single use plastic cups. Is this the shape of things to come? #ClimateEmergency https://t.co/GGdHnNeoNw
The annual wind #energy market report is out from @berkeleylab. It's a treasure trove of info https://t.co/Rivo9uZOYJ
Wind energy in the U.S. is still getting cheaper: avg installed cost of 2018 projects was $1,470/kW, down 40% since the peak in '09/'10 & capacity factors are up

@insideclimate@Jaguar@LandRover The @Tesla Model S is too small for my uses; however, the Model X is the smallest I would look at buying.
I am looking for a BEV version of the Range Rover SV Autobiography LWB but that is rumoured to be 2024 to 2028 which is not good enough.
