@ZathuraDnD There are stories of mortals entering, but not so many stories of them leaving. For a more detailed answer, you'd have to get in touch with some sort of extraplanar mage
The Fae, btw, have no cities in Maa, preferring to live within their own realm. They move freely between it and Maa through unknown magic. Their are four flavors of Fae, themed around seasons in Maa. It's not known whether or not the flavors have their own planes-
A magical researcher from Kingland University announces a successful transmutation of lead to gold! Slenn Geaborg, a Human, proved to an audience today that such a thing is possible. HOWEVER, this action required thirty warlocks using all their mana to accomplish.
Gnomish researcher Gnomitri Gnomendeleyev claims there are over 100 fundamental components that compose our world. What a nerd. You'd need some sort of chart or table to keep track of all those.
Those gutchmangoes are incredibly spicy! Airmelons are berries from the zeujera tree, native to Avvindrell. These berries resemble dandelions, and after falling from their parent bush, float downwards and hover a few feet above the ground.
A running joke among Gnomes is the Elemelons. We all know what a watermelon is, but have you heard of earthmelons, firemelons, and airmelons? Earthmelons are merely potatoes. Firemelons are actually gutchmangoes, an incredibly spicy fruit only found on bushes in Stonecourt.
The Big 4 gods of Maa- Fen Muhaile, Maahamat, Namur, and Uduri- seem to have two shrines each. They have an Earthly Temple, and a Divine Shrine. The locations of some Earthly Temples are known, but the others are merely rumored.
Other gods also have Temples. Ullamythial, generally considered to be the God of Selkies, has her Earthly Temple in a basement in Kotabesar. Dillingry, God of Kniwledge, has her Temple within the Great Library of Markakoulo. Perhaps the most interesting Temple is that of Vagabond
Uduri's Earthly Temple is a total mystery, having never been seen across Maa. Supposedly a monk from Tal's Rest saw a vision of it in Year 1320, claiming that it's an altar made of copper that never tarnishes.
Namur's Earthly Temple is only rumored. It's supposedly a Mausoleum that lies deep within the catacombs of Doimheachd, but I know of no mortal who's seen it and lived to tell the tale.
Fen Muhaile's Earthly Temple is shockingly small- it's a shrine in the courtyard at the Church of Shid. Rings of berry bushes surround a statue of a crab made of a strange otherworldly stone. Devotees to Fen Muhaile place beer bottles in its claw and chug them, just as Fen wants.
Maahamat's Earthly Temple is the Great Ziggurat in Ieri Gi. The largest structure in all of Maa, it's also the center of Druid faith. Carved statues of Dragons adorn the ziggurat, as Dragons were created by Maahamat as the pinnacle of living beings.
So what about other races? Surely they must have their own settlements? Well, yes, but most of them aren't that impressive, and none of them are self-governing, generally functioning as republics of the larger nations.
The Dragons "vanished" long ago, hidden within society in their mortal disguises. They still exist, as Dragonborn crop up with an uncommon regularity. They generally relocate to northern Maa, and the city with the most Dragonborn is Fang's Hillside.
A warrior named Tallia. After assisting Queen Yereva Zaster in Year 800, Tallia was named the official guardian of her homeland, and since then Aasimar have flocked there. See what I did there? Flocked? It's because they have wings.
While we're on the subject of cities, let's talk about Aasimar. Every race can claim a settlement in Maa, except these Angelfolk, because they're so few in number. Most Aasimar end up in Tal's Rest; while it's officially a Human city, it's the birthplace of the first Aasimar-
