Another issue is the Maisha Card itself. It expires every ten years, forcing people to keep renewing and paying fees. On top of that, private companies like banks could gain access to your personal data - a major privacy concern.

We also reminded the court about Huduma Namba. That system failed both legally and technically. Instead of fixing its mistakes, the government has simply rebranded it as Maisha Namba, carrying forward the same problems.
