The Pledge against Digital ID is not a petition
It’s a public declaration that you will refuse government digital ID systems & "government by app"
A similar pledge helped defeat Tony Blair’s ID cards in the 2000s - & was signed over 1 million times
Take the Pledge:

I don’t mind my data being used my for research to help the NHS etc, however, because the government have now allowed Palantir access, I have withdrawn my consent using this link:

Here is my BAFTA speech in full, with the important bit that hasn't been shown.
Also, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us, and to our colleagues who rallied around us. And thank you to @BAFTA and the judges for a great evening and a great honour.
Dear @BBCNews after you unforgivably refused to show this brilliant and essential documentary, at least have the grace and integrity to show this acceptance speech in full

This is the part they don’t show you.
An openly anti-Zionist Jewish community.
Anti-Zionism is NOT Anti-Semitism!
Everyone should protest against Zionism, Zionism is not Judaism.
Being against Zionism does not make you an enemy of the Jews.
Extremist is the death and destruction that Benjamin Netanyahu government brings on a daily basis.
Extremist is them introducing the death penalty for Palestinians.
Extremist is this apartheid, genocidal Israeli Government that our Government shamefully supports.
Apple Maps has quietly erased the names of most villages in southern Lebanon.
While Israeli forces push to take Bint Jbeil & senior officials openly talk about permanent buffer zones up to the Litani, entire Lebanese communities have disappeared from the map.
The timing is grotesque. The optics are worse.
While Israel carries out real time ethnic cleansing, @Apple performs digital ethnics cleansing.
Shame on you @tim_cook
But maps will not define us.
Maps will not erase us.
We are still here.
Our villages are still ours.
Our land is still Lebanon.🇱🇧

🚨 Apple’s new iPhone update is restricting internet freedom in the UK.
I’ve written to @apple to call for an urgent U-turn.
I explain the 8 key issues - affecting 35 mil of us in the UK! - in this short blog.
This is so important. Please read & share⬇️

I’m interrupting a long break from here to share something I’m just furious about.
I switched iPads, from the one I was using to another (better) 1 we’ve had for years. I simply transferred my stuff from 1 to another…and I have to confirm my age. I knew this was a thing now but I never update phone or iPad so I knew I wouldn’t see that dreaded message any time soon, I totally forgot transferring my stuff would mean an automatic software update. Silly me, uh? But…silly government, actually. Bloody awful, authoritarian govt! Apple knows I’m over 18, they don’t need verification, it’s the BLOODY GOVT that requires it. I’ve had this iPad in my house for years, I’ve had an Apple ID for years, there is NO VALID REASON for me to verify my age to be able to (fully) use MY OWN DEVICE bought years ago!
Needless to say, I’m not verifying my age.
Nuh-uh. Not happening. It’s the principle. This government has no real reason and *no right* to impose this on people. They’re not ‘protecting children’, it’s laughable to believe they care about that - what they do care about is tagging and controlling adults. This is how the digital ID abomination starts, and I’m not complying - I never ever will.

🚨NEWS: UK iPhone users must now prove their age or lose full internet access
"It is absolutely outrageous that, overnight, Apple has put a chokehold on Britons' freedom to search the internet, access information and use apps unless they provide sensitive ID documents.
This means 35 million Brits who have paid hundreds or even thousands of pounds for Apple tech suddenly now have a child's device unless they comply with invasive demands for personal information that go far beyond what UK law requires.
Apple has crossed the Rubicon with this software update which is more like ransomware, holding customers hostage to ID demands that are invasive, exclusionary and unnecessary.
Children's online safety is vital but requires better parental controls and thoughtful tech responsibility - not sweeping, draconian, shock demands by foreign companies for all of our IDs and credit cards."

🚨 Apple's new iOS update has just put an ID check on all Britons' phones. It is beyond outrageous!
Unless you give an ID/credit card, you now have a child's device with restricted access to information.
@Apple MUST U-turn on this!
