When I was younger, I used to think Period sex is bad. We sighted infection and all what not as reasons why it’s bad but it was during my marriage class that a medical doctor explained to us that it is a healthy practice.
She made us to understand that period sex isn’t a bad thing, it’s largely a matter of personal comfort and consent.
Medically, it’s safe for most people, and for some women, sex during menstruation can even help relieve cramps due to the release of endorphins. Menstrual blood isn’t “dirty”, it’s a natural bodily process. As long as both partners are comfortable, communicate openly, and practice good hygiene (and protection if needed), period sex is simply another personal choice. It is not something to be shamed over.
She told us a story about a couple who couldn’t conceive for more than 17 years because the woman’s ovulation only happens during her menstrual flow. Weird right? She did take in (she was 42 at the time) after she was told by a doctor and gave birth to the only boy child she has today.
So yeah, make una Dey fuck with period. Nothing do am!

Mob justice isn’t justice. It’s a crime. Thousands of Nigerians have been attacked,
burned, or lynched without trial. It's time to say enough. #JusticeNotJungle@AmnestyNigeria@UNHumanRights
