Sophie Skelton of Outlander says the Ewe Culture’s concept of reincarnation is so beautiful. Outlander is one of my favorite series ❤️
In this video, I’m talking to Sophie Skelton.

Happy International Women’s Day.
There is a quiet expectation in society that once a woman turns 40, and in some places even 30, she should slowly fade into the background, tuck away her dreams, soften her voice, and leave passion, ambition, and love to the younger generation.
But life doesn’t work that way.
A woman does not lose her right to joy, creativity, love, or ambition with age. If anything, she gains clarity, strength, wisdom, and the courage to live more truthfully than ever before.
Too often, women are judged simply for refusing to disappear, for staying vibrant, outspoken, ambitious, and full of life. Yet the truth is simple: a woman’s worth, beauty, and capacity to love do not come with an expiration date.
And beyond society’s judgments, many women carry burdens the world rarely sees.
Across the world, especially in places where there is little social protection, weak healthcare, and limited respect for women’s rights, women fight every day to raise their children, often alone. They work, sacrifice, struggle, and hold their families together through storms few people ever witness.
Yet they do not give up.
They continue to guide, protect, and love their children through every stage of life.
That is the strength of a woman.
Women rebuild, endure, and rise again, even when the weight is heavy. We carry responsibility, nurture hope, and keep moving forward.
Women deserve love, respect, dignity, and opportunity.
And we will not allow anyone to divide us by age or diminish our worth, not society, not prejudice, and not even the loudest misogynists.
I am living proof that life does not shrink with time, it expands.
I have known hardship, but I have also built a life filled with love, creativity, family, and purpose. I write, I create, I dream, I speak for what I believe in, and I continue to grow.
And if life changes tomorrow, I will still stand, creating, building, and living fully.
Because a woman is not defined by her age or by society’s expectations.
She is defined by her courage to keep becoming.
To every woman reading this today:
Do not shrink.
Do not disappear.
Grow louder.
Grow wiser.
Grow freer.
The future belongs to women who refuse to fade.
Happy International Women’s Day.
