@uscfan981 One of my favorite professors at a Wisconsin college was a Louisiana native and a great teacher. He was an a nice guy and had a fantastic Louisiana bayou accent.
@wischlist That’s a fun idea that will never happen. Can you imagine both the White Sox and Bears negotiating and dealing with state and city governments to get those done at the same time? They can’t even get a simple billed passed to regulate property taxes for the Bears in Arlington.
@dabearsblog Plus the fact that only 62000 attend games at the stadium. The vast majority of Bears fans in the Chicago area and nationwide watch games on various TV platforms. It really is not consequential where the stadium is built, except for economic benefits on game days.
@Espngreeny Well wherever they go it won’t be the same, by definition. Bears once played in Wrigley, there was nostalgia for that too but it faded. If they go to Hammond there will be loud protests but in the end Bears fans will be Bears fans.
@AutoPrincess427@jacobinfante24 Parking will be better and cheaper but highly doubt concession prices go down. Extremely high stadium concession pricing exists everywhere and don’t expect that to change.
@jacobinfante24 The Bears aren’t equipped to deal with the corruption and ineptitude of Illinois politicians. Not saying Warren was doing anything positive but the Bears aren’t the only large and profitable business to leave. The state is rotten.
