@thecomputerclan@NunyaBi54530518 That was a fun project!
I suspect the CPU card isn't making a good connection with the board. As shown in the video, the socket for the CPU card is damaged. The way it sits in the case makes it very difficult to ensure everything is seated properly. It could also be bad caps. 🫥

While I make it a point not to comment on politics or current events, I feel like it's a good time to emphasize that Uncommon Ephemera does not and has never received funding or support from governmental sources. In fact I am not even eligible for traditional media preservation grants, all of which require the materials not be published and the materials be housed in a pubilc-access facility like a museum or library. As you can imagine, it's not feasible to just let the entire world come hang out at my house at all hours.
While it's crucial for everyone to voice their opinions on global and national issues, I'd like to also highlight the importance of individual support of independent initiatives like Uncommon Ephemera who rely on the generosity of a few patrons and even fewer donations. My mission is to preserve media that might otherwise be lost to time, a task I undertake with very limited resources. Your support, whether through donations or spreading the word on social media, is absolutely vital for us to keep this unique archive alive and accessible.
Thank you for considering how you can help preserve our collective cultural heritage.

Hey, I’ve posted a new video, all about how great or crummy the Power Macintosh 6100 is. If that sounds fun, please check it out! The link is in the replies because this app is weird!
Going to NYC + LI Retro Gaming Expo and shooting some film was an absolute blast. Tap in to come along!

We’ve had some people promise large donations in the past few months but they left us high and dry. Can you help where they failed to? No one else on earth is preserving this film format.
