@MDMagWF Cause there’s a million other items to use while you wait Or just rush it, you can make 50 plat pretty quickly using https://t.co/K3XQRMv1bG
@Windows Is starting to become really aggressive and creepy.
I just tried to play a @Steam game like I always do and it blocks the game. Never asked it to do this, it just thinks it can do whatever it wants. @Microsoft You guys need to get it together.
It 100% can work and there is more reason than ever for a raid in Warframe considering its current state and depth of the game.
The issue is that DE currently does not have the time and resources to focus on a raid given their current content release schedule. It would be way too risky and they probably don’t have a team confident and passionate enough about raids.
If they created a raid I think the primary goal in order for it to be successful is, it would have to be accessible to the majority of players and it would have to have a slightly weighted focus on fun more than difficulty.
As a MR 6 with 3k+ hours that’s been playing since 2013 and that has also spent 1k+ hours in D1 and 500 hours in D2, Raids CAN work.
The main reason for the previous version being removed was simply about the player count vs the dev time spent fixing issues. It was not worth the time.
Now the bigger issue was, why was the player count low? Because it wasn’t designed well for the average player to participate. If it’s not fun and somewhat simple to participate in, no one will play it.
How do you fix that? You design a better raid for players to participate in.
Unfortunately DE currently does not have the resources and a team confident enough to focus on making a raid that everyone will enjoy. So I understand their refusal, but it obviously can work if made well enough.
Also, the game was in such a wildly different place when raids did exists. The game has evolved a lot since then and its “end game” has deepened a lot more. So there would be more reasons for a raid today, then there was in 2015 (11 years ago) when raid were first introduced.
It wouldn’t be a big deal if we knew for a fact that these locations will only exist to give out one-time “ultimate edition” items.
If this is the case, I don’t think anyone will care because the location will not have any other use.
But there’s no clarification on that and the fact that they are specifically locking a location leads to the assumption that these locations will continue to be accessible and active, giving away items in the future that the rest of the player base cannot access.
So the way this looks and sounds is, part of the game and its customization will permanently be locked away unless you pay the extra $20.
That is just a really shady way to get players to pay more.
Imagine being so ignorant that you think the $60-$70 for the base game actually lasted 10 years. You people are so embarrassing.
Based on all the information we have, the average ACTIVE player who played the game during the life span of the game has spent $75-$100 per year.
So in reality, your “10 years of fun” cost $750 at a minimum to enjoy the game over its life.
In other words, in no world does anyone ever spend only $60 to enjoy a game over that kind of time span. That’s why it’s a big deal what the initial price of the game will cost.
@RammJaeger It makes sense. You basically have a line of clones with their heads up each others you know what, so how can you expect anything different or the possibly of new ideas/innovation.
@Stallion83 Probably thought it would help to dissipate the news of it faster. Not great news, but as smart of a choice as you can make on a day to announce it.
I think not showing gameplay and expecting people to fall in line is part of their strategy. “We’re gonna do things a certain way, and you’re gonna like it.”
The only way they ever get the hint, is showing them they’re not the ones in control. Unfortunately most people will blindly pre order and fall in line.,
@qexd1k@SanStar00@jericho681 I own a construction business kiddo. Sounds like a cope from someone who doesn’t have the capability to understand the issue.
@tervisscoot Many will do it because @RockstarGames is intentionally creating FOMO. You can’t blame them for wanting everything the game has to offer, it’s scummy how they’re doing it. More specifically about locking locations in the game.
The shops are only for the ultimate edition, that’s why a lot of us are annoyed. The fact that you don’t believe they’re doing that just shows that it already sounds scummy and that’s because it is.
Just give out the items, no need to lock the stores off to everyone else.
Most people don’t realize it, especially the younger generation, but the purpose of this is to create FOMO so that you feel forced to buy the $100 version. It’s insulting.
Yeah, this is scummy. The point is to create FOMO so that you feel pressured to buy the $100 version.
I have no problem with them giving away 100s of items as extra content for the Ultimate Edition, I may have even bought it myself. But locking in-game locations is just a slap in the face basically saying you’re stupid and going to buy it anyways.
