@DShyKnock I guess they have faith in their midlaner... but personally I do not, and while yes I agree Eyla feel like a more obvious choice I think regardless they will not make it over the hump without stronger mid
@esportsjatt@DShyKnock I think you made a good point tbh, gotta be NA talent and our guy is out there waiting for the chance. Also people like to say he got carried by CoreJJ, well I bet apiring him up with Vulcan could be just if, if not better!
@DShyKnock That's true, but mmm, did those boos get damn quiet as we cheered for the victory, and that made it so much more tasty to win. π I cheered right in their faces. π€£
@PapaSmithy@DShyKnock I think you are a much better judge of this than I am, of course. And to be clear, I'm just taking the spicy take, so IF it happens, I can say I was on it first. But I do truly believe Flyquest will overtake C9 in summer. I am also a C9 hater so take that for what you will.
@DShyKnock I will go further and predict that @FlyQuest will overtake them in summer if they do not make a change. And I think you made this point... idk who they could even get to make this roster better.
@DShyKnock Honestly, imma stick to the one from before first stand. So yes, I called it before it was cool... This C9 roster is done for. They will not win a title or make it to an international event with this group of players. They just don't have what it takes to get over that hump.
@DShyKnock I would say...
Best: The atmosphere and energy of the crowd. It felt very fun to be in person and the crowd was hyped for the plays and players.
Worst: Like I mentioned before, the activations were very limited compared to Houston 2022 spring finals. And pricey. Also AZ summer
And before anyone jumps me for this take, I get that this might just be the future we are living in where we get more road shows and less production. Honestly, I'm all for more road shows. Just wanted to throw this out there because it was a significant step down from last time.
@DShyKnock I don't want to be too negative here, but I think a good topic of discussion might be how little there was in the way of activations at spring finals. My only other experience was 2022 spring finals in Huston. That year had a ton of experiences and booths...
This year, there was 1 Kia vehicle, each of the participants had a table and then there was a sign table and the LCS merch booth. The most interesting thing was honestly from @FlyQuest and their players with an after party. There wasnt even really any opportunity for signatures.
