"Rocky" is 50. Many of Sly Stallone's famous stories about the making of this classic are accepted myth.
@MikeSielski has a great new book, "Going the Distance," that details the real story of this movie.

@rjchoppy Good halftime show

[Mac Engel @MacEngelProf]

@TheFigen_ Pros: Good explosion. Good hip movement. Finishes the block. Puts the defender down. Has the motor.
Cons: Let the queen get touched. Easily distracted. Not coachable.

When I asked Kyrie Irving if the longevity Kevin Durant & LeBron James are an inspiration to think he can play another 5 or 6 yrs, I was not expecting this answer.
The more Kyrie talked, the more I hate to say I agree with him. The @NBA should listen

@michaelschwab13 Immortal series

[Mac Engel @MacEngelProf]

@KeithOB Small-market series: Rangers-DBacks
Market size
4. DFW
12. Phoenix

That series didn't register outside of those 2 markets at all.
One truism of the Rangers - they play in a huge area, but the baseball market functions more like Milwaukee than Philly.

@zkeefer Wow. Ouch.
100% true.
Well done @zkeefer

Wrote this on 9/10
"MLB has a big Tampa Bay Rays problem:
"The worst development for MLB is not the specter of the Dodgers rolling again to another title, but a Rays-Brewers World Series. For MLB, now is NOT the time for that."

We need to discuss there is a good chance no NFC East team will win another game this season.
