@Melbchief Chip thanks for your article bringing this to our attention. This is an appalling state of affairs and the DPP should know better, we could well be headed for another miscarriage of justice here. George Pell may well be innocent and still may be a victim of a witch hunt.

I needed to go on to say I agree with the tax cuts, our tax rates are too high but there are too many companies and individuals who pay no tax which is a huge cost to us all and successive Governments have failed to fix it.

I have just finished reading Tony Wright's article in today's Age regarding the homeless souls in our fair city. He makes an interesting observation that the Morrison Government would sooner give a tax cut to those with a job than increase Newstart for those who haven't a job.
