He's on Hannity's show - Hannity has said 100,000 more bigoted things in seriousness than Hasan Piker has ever said in jest.
He is Fox's favorite Democrat for a reason. Why is he suddenly in a suit and tie these days? Is Netanyahu back in town?
MUST-WATCH: Fetterman can’t grasp what Jon Stewart is asking 😕
STEWART: “Do you think maybe economic populism/DSA momentum is rising because you establishment Dems haven’t delivered? And capitalism has left them behind?”
FETTERMAN: “something something China A.I…”🤔 👀
STEWART to @JohnFetterman: “You’re caricaturing people’s views. I haven’t seen candidates say they’re ‘pro-Hamas’ — if your concern is winning, it’s playing into the hands of Republicans... and if your issue with Platner was treatment of women, you’re ignoring a lot with Trump.”
A wave of progressive populism is defying political gravity (ie big money) and upending primary season in the US. It’s exhilarating to witness.
Of course there are many factors shaping this shift, most unique to the US.
But there is an underlying feeling that we share in Canada, and its importance cannot be overstated.
People are furious with ultra rich, powerful elites.
The social contract has been broken. People who work for a wage or salary (not a dividend or bonus) just can’t make the household math make sense.
And we’re looking up at the unlimited wealth of the 1% and we are pissed.
This groundswell of populist rage is legitimate, and it’s a completely predictable consequence of our economic system and how it has been managed for the last 50 years.
The desire to push back against the smug arrogance and creepy impunity of elites is a defining force in politics today.
It will either be harnessed by progressive politics, to balance the scales of society and make a fairer economy for all…
Or it will fuel fascism.
That’s the choice. And happily, it's up to us!
Which is why I’m so grateful to be doing the work of rebuilding the NDP into a national fighting force for the working class, and to see so many people rushing through the wide-open doors of our movement.
If you watch these films and try to push this narrative that Rey never struggles or fails, you are not an honest or serious person.
Her whole arc is dealing w/ loneliness, needing identity, Kylo even says that her greatest weakness is that she can’t stop needing her parents.
it’s so funny how a major part of the rightwing online ecosystem is the same people always claiming to just become republicans for the first time in their life every single election cycle
no one hates america and americans more than the republicans who burn our tax dollars on endless wars for profit and plunder at the behest of the epstein class. you are their servant. you will lose.
Pretty simple. The Dem voter base is overwhelmingly anti Israel and pro leftwing economic populism.
The corruption of the Israel lobby and corporate interests is backfiring in your faces.
Disney absolutely failed this man by deciding to switch from a movie to a show. They got scared after the backlash from Solo not realizing that a movie starring Ewan would’ve absolutely done insane numbers for them especially with all the controversy surrounding the ST at the time. The marketing would’ve been insane and I’m sure it would’ve opened doors for Hayden to get a Vader solo project as well which fans have wanted for years. Imagine getting an Obi-Wan movie and then teasing that the next one would be focused on Vader. Fans would’ve lost their minds.
Obi-Wan is easily one of the biggest names in Star Wars and absolutely deserved a movie over a show. It will never not piss me off that they gave him the smallest budget of all the Disney+ shows. Also hiring a guy to write the show who hadn’t even seen Revenge of the Sith, which is the most important piece of the puzzle to write a show about Obi’s trauma 10 years later, is the dumbest decision ever and I still want to know who hired him. It makes zero sense. So many of the choices they made for that show were absurd.
There should be no world where the OBI-WAN KENOBI show is one of the least watched and most disliked Star Wars shows.
They fucked that up so bad and probably won’t give him anymore seasons because of the low ratings despite that not being his fault at all. If they hired a better director and writer who actually understands the character and lore I think they could make something great. But they’re not gonna do that. Instead he’s going to be used as cameos for quick nostalgia bait just like what they’re doing with Hayden. I hope someone comes in and gives them the opportunity to make something special because they both deserve it.
Rosie O’Donnell on Trump: “I told the truth that every New Yorker my age knows about him: he’s not a self-made man, he got his father’s money, he’s a grifter, he’s a logo-slapper, he’s not in fact a builder, his Apprentice days were all fiction sold as fact and people believed them. This guy’s a joke, he’s a used car salesman, he’s a snake oil salesman”
