The tree species you use on your fantasy map can tell a lot about the climate of a region. It’s a simple way to convey information without being heavy-handed.
Here’s a little cheat sheet for a few common indicator tree species you can use.
I originally drew this map of Wolfhowl Island for my own campaign world, but realised that it might be of use to other dungeon masters as well.

When I post my traps there’s always people accusing me of plagiarising Grimtooth’s. While I’m the first to admit that I might have subconsciously recreated one of G’s designs, not *one* of my accusers has been able to provide a source to the trap I’ve supposedly ”stolen”. #dnd

Rewritten the Eularian fluid sim (which uses Gauss-Seidel method) with OpenCL. Now it runs much faster (it can run over 200k points with less stress)👌
Prototyping in VEX and reimplement the code with OpenCL made sense to me.
