My guess is regardless of naming rights, it will still be known as Lambeau Field. Something like “Delta Airlines Stadium at Lambeau Field” is the most likely outcome, keeping the name alive. At the end of the day if it comes down to it, we’d all rather have the Packers in Green Bay with possibly a dome and a stadium with a different name than the team leave!

Many scoffed when Ed Policy said his #1 priority was to keep the Packers in Green Bay.

It’s an exceptionally difficult task to pull off as the team faces a constant uphill battle financially. Lots of work has been done to build up Titletown to stay competitive with additional revenue sources, but their “rainy day fund” is a tiny drop of water in Lake Michigan compared to what other teams have available.

Staying financially competitive and viable is job number 1 indeed, and they are probably going to have to do some unpopular things like stadium naming rights to stay in the game.
