Good riddance at long last to Jadon Sancho, Manchester United’s worst ever signing. Representative of the previous era, big money arrivals with little to no planning or scouting, a player with zero professionalism & no respect for his own talent.
That phase of the club is over.
Spent my day watching Ederson.
These are my thoughts as a fan, not an analyst, so no deep dive here—just surface-level observations. I’m also focusing only on the positives.
He looks more like an 8 than a 6.
I think you get the best out of him when he’s allowed to roam.
He’s not an expansive passer, but he won’t give the ball away recklessly like ugarte
I wouldn’t rely on him as an outlet under heavy pressure.
He has goals in him, not from set pieces, but from arriving late in the box. Very McTominay-esque, he can score more than Casemiro did in 4 years
Loves a give-and-go. Passes and moves rather than standing still (most of the time)
Off the ball:
Willing dueller.
Significantly improves the team’s pressing.
Has an incredible engine and looks capable of playing every minute of a season.
Physical specimen.
Gives me Declan Rice vibes in the sense that you’d have to take a leg off him to keep him unavailable.
Not a yellow-card magnet. Plays with a calm head.
That’s all.

Ederson moving from £41,000 to £75,000 per week at Man United is such a great deal by Ineos and also shows his desire to join Man United..
I'm really impressed with what Ineos have done with our wage structure.. In the past, we'd have handed him £200k weekly..

Barcelona have made a first official bid for the Atlético striker, several sources in Spain confirm. 👀
President Joan Laporta is personally leading the negotiations and want to wrap it up quickly. 🤝
Alvarez has told those close to him in clear words: “𝗜 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗔”. 💬
136 - Bruno Fernandes created 136 chances in the @premierleague this season; the most by a player in any of Europe's big five leagues since Kevin De Bruyne in 2019-20 (also 136). Visionary.
