2 years ago I was 205 pounds and honestly I didn’t feel terrible at that weight. But my belly was sticking out a little further than I was comfortable with.
I decided I wanted to test myself to see if I could drop some unnecessary fat and find my abs.
I just weighted in last week at 169. The leanest I’ve been since middle school, and the strongest I’ve ever been.
There are tons of ways to get here, but the right path for you is unique to you and it can be adjusted as you show growth.
But the simplest strategy you can follow is to
1. educate yourself on healthier alternative to what you already eat
2. track your foods (which also helps you learn),
3. move a little bit more (exercise, play, walking)
There’s no sugar coating here. You can overcomplicate this, but why? That just muddies the waters even more.
Simply move more, eat less, and learn from the process.
If you tried to lose weight and failed, what are some things you would do differently a second time around?

How long are you willing to commit to something without tangible evidence it’s working?
Muscle just doesn’t appear after the first workout,
Your stock portfolio isn’t going to skyrocket over night…
But when you stick to a consistent routine, for long enough, something magical happens.
And for those who have faith it’s going to work, keep grinding!
Your payoff is coming.
@bryk_squuaadd Gotta be quick with a dude like Garrett coming after him.
Definitely a cool moment…not the outcome us bengals fans wanted to see but still happy he got the record.
Just grunt it out!
Some days you don’t want to, or are worried about how the outcome will turn out.
Fuck that shit!
Show up anyway and fail if necessary, but keep showing up consistently.
@itsCoryOnX I honestly can’t remember what gas prices were when I got mine, I just remember it was below 2 dollars a gallon.
Pretty cool to see it that low again though.
@zachhomol_ I catch myself thinking about this a lot. I think part of it is subconscious for me, but if I feel like it a a waste I don’t give it enough energy or thought.
I’ve been working on it because I know that iteration and failure is necessary for growth.
@ItzDanielBailey Funny thing is, I looked at this picture and thought, “damn I don’t remember wearing this Santa hat for this picture”, then I realized the whole scenery behind me and thought, “what and idiot” 😂
I’m not on this platform much anymore and I’m reminded why when I check the stats on my post,
I’m getting like3 views. Views aren’t the goal, but what do I pay for the blue check mark for if my posts are not being seen…
Maybe I should work on. It sucking with my posts 😆
