Another month, another blessing, and another milestone I'm so grateful to share with my dear friends! ❤️

Yesterday marked ELEVEN MONTHS SMOKE FREE! After 47 years of smoking, I put out my last cigarette on November 24, 2025, the day after my birthday. What once seemed almost impossible is now just one month away from becoming a full year without cigarettes. I still find myself amazed at how far I've come. 🙏❤️

This journey has taught me that even the toughest habits can be overcome with faith, determination, and the love of those who stand beside you. God has given me strength on the difficult days, and my family and friends have given me more encouragement than they may ever realize. Every prayer, kind word, and little celebration has meant the world to me. ❤️

And I can't celebrate this milestone without thinking of my precious Lugnut. Loki had his own way of letting Granny know exactly what he thought about those cigarettes. One little “pfftt” from him said more than a thousand words! I'd smile and tell him, “I'm going to quit, bud. I promise.”

How I wish he were here to see that Granny finally kept her word. Eleven months, my sweet boy. Eleven months! I'd give anything for one more kiss on that beautiful face and one more chance to tell him we did it. ❤️🐾🌈

Forty-seven years behind me, eleven months of freedom, and just thirty days standing between me and my first smoke free anniversary.

All glory to God for bringing me this far, and all my love to the family and friends who continue walking this journey with me. One day at a time, and I'm not stopping now! ❤️🙏

Can you believe this? Under Minn. Stat. § 201.061, one registered voter can vouch for up to 8 people on Election Day, swearing they live in the precinct. No utility bill, lease or ID showing their address is needed to prove residence.

Democrats claim our elections are secure. However, if you take the Minnesota Secretary of State’s 2024 eligible-voter (not registered) figure of about 4.286 million. Hypothetically, if every 9 people were 1 voucher and 8 people vouched for, that’s about 476,000 vouchers covering 3.81 million people, nearly 89% of the eligible-voter population.

How is a system with that kind of potential even legal?

But when even her own sister’s book lines up with what federal filings and investigators are now saying about her actual identity, the game is up.
The person we’ve known as Ilhan Omar entered the U.S. under false pretenses and was not the age she claimed. They only scrambled to change the birth year in public records once the controversies started piling up.

Nine days left, and early voting is already winding down in a lot of places.

Texas and Georgia close early voting this Friday, Oct. 30. Florida's statewide early voting runs through Saturday, Oct. 31, and Michigan's through Sunday, Nov. 1. Georgia has already passed 1.6 million ballots, per the Secretary of State's data, and Texas cast nearly 3 million in its first four days.

AOC needs to listen to herself. She claims she’s helping women stand up to abusers and rapists while backing males in women’s sports and locker rooms. How can abuse survivors feel safe when a male can identify as a woman to enter her space?

The double standard is glaring: girls were kept out of boys’ sports and locker rooms for boys’ comfort, yet now girls are told to share theirs.

Protect women’s sports and spaces; stop Democrats from teaching children that boundaries don’t matter.

Brought my new rig home to clean it, figured it's time, since I bought my new saddle in August. She's weathering quite nicely I must say!! Best purchase evah, well second best.

I had the crystal brow band custom made for my Wonder Woman aka Samoa back in 2020 after we literally chased down a loose thoroughbred for 4 miles through a state park, and saved his life.

You've probably watched the opening credits of Gilligan's Island dozens of times.

The Minnow leaves the harbor, the familiar theme song begins, and seven unsuspecting passengers set off on what was supposed to be a three-hour tour.

But there's something in those opening moments that most viewers never noticed.

An American flag flying at half-staff.

And the reason has nothing to do with the show's fictional shipwreck.

In November 1963, the production crew was in Hawaii filming footage for the series' pilot when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.

The tragedy interrupted production. When filming resumed, the flag visible near the harbor was flying at half-staff.

That brief moment made its way into the show's first-season opening credits.

For generations, viewers watched the Minnow sail away without realizing that a small detail in the background reflected what was happening in the real world.

It's an extraordinary contrast: the beginning of one of television's most lighthearted sitcoms quietly preserving a moment of national grief.

Sometimes the smallest details in the shows we remember have the biggest stories behind them.
