Gary Lineker: Genocide is bad.
The right: Stick to football.
Jim Ratcliffe: The UK is being colonised, and I don't pay personal income tax here.
The right: Yaay, Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Man of the people. True patriot.
Rashford: Feed the kids.
The right: Boo. Stick to football.
Same thing every year 😩
They wonder why there’s a lack of high quality English managers. Maybe it’s because you don’t give coaches working up the ranks these opportunities.
For context I’m 27 but I’ve been coaching for over 13 years and senior football for 6 years with…
Why?
"Why don't we produce English coaches of Tuchel's standard, Collymore "?
Two reasons.
1. £13,700 to do your Pro licence in England, today. In Spain it's around €2000. There are 2200 Spanish pro licence coaches. There are 200 English pro licence coaches. Look at the correlation between cost and coaching number.
2. Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney all took jobs instead of doing 3 years at SGP. Why? Gerrard got £2.5m at Rangers, Lampard £1m Derby, Rooney $1m Washington. Fuentes, Spanish head coach coached Sevilla and Bilbao youth on around €30k then Alaves first team where he lasted 6 months on around €100k before being sacked ( for those who thought Southgate Boro CV wasn't up to scratch).
So English coaches have to pay 10 times more than European compatriots to get the same qualification, and English players don't give SGP an identity because they never get there, they go straight to jobs where their fame gets them inflated salary and deal.
I invite anyone reading this to..
Tell me Gerrard's philosophy.
Lampard's philosophy.
Rooney's philosophy.
You can't. Because they never went to SGP to learn one or develop one with each other. An "English way". All winners by the way.
Spain? France? Every 12 year old could tell you the arse end of every Spanish coach, what the core tenets are and how they play. Why? Those coaches coaches with each other, can afford the courses and develop an overall style that suits the environment they work in ( Spain), which is then taken abroad and utilised everywhere.
Deal with the root causes and we'll get our coaches.
Andy Burnham, "We've got Hillsborough.. Grenfell.. Post Office.. Windrush.. Contaminated Blood.. This is a pattern that keeps on repeating"
"The unelected state in Britain has too much power.. It's too easy to cover up"
This is wild.
🧨 Troyes🇫🇷 players throwing flares back into the fans in the stands as the match is abandoned 🙈
📉 Troyes fans protesting as they face back-to-back relegations to the third tier of French football
🌚 A reminder that Troyes are one of 13 clubs within the Manchester City football group (CFG)
💰 Troyes' record signing Savio🇧🇷 (€6.5m) has never played for them! He is currently on loan at another CFG club, Girona🇪🇸 and has 16 goals & assists in 32 games in La Liga as Girona sit 3rd
🆕 Savio has now agreed a summer transfer - to Man City 🙃
💶 He is valued at £40m but the fee City will pay has not been disclosed.....
✅ Both Man City & Girona will be allowed to play in the Champions League next season, because CFG owns less than 50% of Girona (47%) - so they are not classed as having the same owners as it's not a majority stake
🤷♂️ In completely unrelated matters, the president of the board of Girona🇪🇸, who also owns 16% of the club is Mr Pere Guardiola. Brother of Pep.
Only 3 of 66 Real Madrid managers, 4 of 72 Barca managers, 2 of 29 Utd managers and 1 of 27 Arsenal managers have won more trophies than Klopp at Liverpool
Man United and Liverpool better get their Ten Hag/Klopp succession plans right because these two nerd managers playing 8 centre backs through title races will make the Prem unwatchable
What’s hilarious about this is there’s about a 50% chance they’re Scousers. We’ve got the oldest Chinese heritage community in the UK outside of London, and they’re some of the Scousest people you’ll meet.
Even if they’re not Scouse, this is just racism.
