signed albums and photocards value nothing if they come from a disgusting ableist company.
we should all #BoycottHello82Now, but that also means boycotting target, walmart, and barnes and noble exclusive releases for groups that are partnered with hello82 because those versions are also distributed by hello82, meaning hello82 still profits from them!
went to the EMT tent at @hello82official’s 82world and asked if they had any cool packs for rapid cooling because my meds make me extra heat sensitive and they told me they don’t and i can go stand in shade
#82WORLDLA
82 World giving disabled Club 82 ticket holders who spent like 500 usd for a VIP experience a fucking 4 yard by 2 yard puppy pen to be kept inside of in the back to "see" the main stage from tonight (they won't be able to) is DIABOLICAL. Actually horrific. Sick.
to add: in addition to avoiding the store in the future, it may also be worth it to try cancelling current orders/pre-orders even for items labelled final sale and describe exactly why. even if they resist issuing a refund, it makes it clear that it will hit them in the profits.
everyone better boycott hello82, no more signed albums, no going to popups i don't fucking care if you want boypaper, disabled people deserve our support and we finally need to grow a backbone as a fandom
Btw not only only did hello82 threw out disabled people, told them to walk and stand up, took away emergency medication, insisted disabled fans to have the same entry as everyone else and beeing trampled in the process bcs of it NO disabled fans won high touch and wasnt allowed+
Some of the heavy hitter Atiny creators with 90k-100k+ followers speaking up after day one would have likely made a difference in the weekend's outcome at 82 World and left Hello 82 COO Sang Cho feeling far less confident in the decision to kick out a disabled fan for +
Just saw a video of a hello82 staff member kicking out a disabled atiny and her service animal because they "can't provide the accommodations she's asking for" and "we aren't legally bound to accommodate them".
This fan asked for compensation and I'm assuming a refund, but +

To speak up about them! They have show Ableism as well as Racism this weekend among other INHUMAN ways to treat people. Stand up now!
I don’t know why we (as a kpop community) keep giving money to hello82 when they’ve proved time and time again that they do not give a fuck about anything but making money. The ableism was horrible from what I’m hearing and it was organized like shit.
It’s genuinely appalling, deplorable, and incredibly illegal the way this was handled. @hello82official take it from someone who runs actual events- you are responsible for EVERYTHING. you especially don’t play around with ada ever. Also blaming a third party is such a cop out when you’re supposed to be “caring” for the lives of thousands of your attendees. this is why we have talented people who have made careers out of creating festivals and events. We don’t just slap a label on an event and expect to reap the benefits and profits on year one.
just a reminder that if you want to boycott h82 after this weekend you’ll also have to boycott the target, b&n, walmart, fnac & hmv exclusives as h82 is the distributor for those as well. not just the popups and their store exclusives.
“Draw You Out” for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album) is out now. Excited for you all to finally hear this song and see this beautiful film soon.

“Why are folks getting dumber?” Because they don’t read. “Why aren’t men as romantic & poetic as they used to be?” Because they don’t read. “Why are people so vulnerable to propaganda?” “Why is everyone a conspiracy theorist?” Because they don’t read. Because they don’t read.
