@elonmusk@elonmusk How about a 3 tier system? Free, $8 which can be used to solve the bot issue, and a verified tier (maybe more than $8) that gives you the checkmark. Then verified people can block free tier replies to help prevent spam.
@dvoidis Happened on my first time playing. Started up the dedicated server. Didn't realize how it worked at first and so I connected to the world, not through the dedicated server software, but by hosting it non-dedicated on the game while the dedicated server was still running.
@dvoidis This time when I connected, it was gone. I am not 100% sure if the other player crashed or not, but I didn't and I didn't alt-f4, but clearly there is something wrong with trying to run the same world via dedicated server and hosting from the game at the same time.
@dvoidis Since I was trying to figure out the dedicated server thing I decided I would exit back out and go try to figure out the dedicated server thing. The other player was getting antsy to get back in so I said screw it, I'll just figure it out later, so I launched it again.
@dvoidis So I decided to restart the server to fix it. This is when I was sure that I wasn't dedicated because the other player got disconnected when I left. I opened it back up through the game (not the dedicated server) and when I got back in, the tree was gone, yay.
@dvoidis There was a desync that happened at some point. There was a tree that was stuck inside our base but the other player couldn't see it. Eventually it fell down but I was unable to cut it, though it was able to kill me lol. Eventually it was getting in the way.
