You mean like Scotland governed by England?
Russia asked, pleaded for years that Ukraine remain a neutral country and not allow NATO weapons to surround Russia's border.
@80_mcswan The thought that Scotland has a Separate identity in the Gaelic language, sends the British establishment into frothing mouth syndrome ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐๐๐๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ
@80_mcswan Itโs not just Gaelic. They want all who live in uk to abandon their history, languages and culture. If you eradicate Scotlands history, language and culture is easier to keep us in the Union as we lose our Scottish identity. Our kids taught little about Scotโs history in school.
@jmc1872 I wish you would learn your history, John.
This map shows a time period when the majority of Scots used this language as our mother tongue
It is baffling why you find the promotion and protection of this ancient part of our culture offensive
@Harkyj1944 What nonsense you speak, Jim.
Gaelic is culturally and economically important.
This year's Gaelic MOD is expected to generate ยฃ6M for the local economy.
60% of businesses that use Gaelic reported the language has increased business.
Today the SNP are rightly complaining that UK Labour Gov are about to impose "billions of pounds of austerity cuts"

A few questions for all Scottish Government departments and local authorities.
Who are these new large housing developments for?
How many will be affordable for the less well off in our society?
Are the water, telecom and energy suppliers being kept in the planning loop?

@Davo_Mack@theSNP Land Reform became enriching the owners on "voluntary" sales at a premium price, and secondly on using Local Development Planning system to let them become housing developers selling off cheap farm land for 10x its agri price.
I warned about in 2010 back when I was still Labour.
If Scotland doesn't use gas turbines, and we generate more energy than we use - then why has our electricity bills rose in the first place?
Now there's an enquiry I want to see happen by the Scottish Govt.
Now about household gas, again we tap more than we use.
