Today is the Soviet 420mm S-103 Tactical Nuclear Recoilless Gun.

Designed sometime in the 1950s on a T-10, the test firing began January 13th-18th when by shot 6 one of the turn threads was damaged. By the 101st (or 95th) shot, the gun was destroyed along with the vehicle.

Assigned to the Dover Patrol where her massive 15 in. guns could be used to bombard German positions on the Belgian coast.
Hit by three torpedoes in October 1917, she was repaired and refurbished in time to take part in the Zeebrugge Raid and the Fifth Battle of Ypres.
Would fight in the Mediterranean Theatre in WWII before being scuttled by her crew in February 1941.

A typical engagement in Laos saw a Raven coordinating airstrikes in defense of a ragtag group of CIA operators, Hmong tribesmen, and Thai mercenaries.

The surrounding NVA are so close that there is no chance of using bombs or other explosive ordnance. Air Force F-105s can only use their cannons in duels with Vietnamese anti-aircraft guns that ring the perimeter.

The NVA fight like Comanches, replacing the dead AAA gunners three times, until the assault is finally broken.
