For those who keep questioning how this happened…

What you just witnessed was a rejection. It was a rejection of those who hate this country. Over the past few decades, we have had a growing rift in this country between one group who loves our Constitution, our freedoms, and great contributions to this world and to its history.

On the other side is a group who hates everything about this country. Who bristles when the National Anthem is played. Or when the Pledge of Allegiance is said. Or when our beautiful flag is waved. A group that takes every opportunity to sh*t on this great nation and all the things it has done in making the world a better place.

Over the years, this second group has become more vocal, gained more ground in our media and academic institutions. Has begun to turn our children and many of our fellow Americans into people who despise this country. Many in this group have attained public office in our government and begun to implement policies, like irresponsible fiscal policy, and open borders, and rampant crime, and government censorship, all which clearly have the intention to weaken and erode the structures of this nation. Because they clearly hate what it stands for.

While this has happened, the first group has stood idly by for way too long and watched it gradually happen. We’ve watched as the second group has brainwashed an entire generation to despise this country and all of the cherished principles it espouses. We’ve watched the one man we voted for to turn this around get attacked with a viciousness that has never been seen in this country’s history and the entire power of government thrown behind an effort to get him out of office and to eliminate him from ever getting back into office.

And we got pissed! And finally stopped sitting idly by while the second group run roughshod over the country we love and the patriots who love it. And we began to fight back. First by exposing the vile evil and hatred for our country by the second group. And by opening many people’s eyes, we were able to mobilize many of our fellow patriots, from all walks of life, from both sexes, from multiple religions, races, and ethnicities, but people who all had one thing in common. They were all patriots who love this country. And we decided to push back. To push back by bringing back the only man who had the balls to square off against your side. And we decided to finally fight to bring your side down.

And what you saw tonight, was the first shot in that fight. We are no longer going to allow you to destroy this beloved country. And we are now going to fight tooth and nail to root you out and never let you attain power in this beautiful country ever again. And we are never ever going to go back to allowing your evil lies that we are racists, bigots, Nazis, fascists, criminals and all the other absurdities you accused us of.

Last night was intended to show you that you are not welcome to continue sh*tting on us, our children, and the country that we love. So take heed and understand that we intend to make this country a great and amazing place for people to flourish in freedom and liberty as was intended by our Founders and if you continue down this path of trying to destroy it, we will resist you at every turn. 🇺🇸

They spout moral absolutes, split the world into oppressors and victims, demand lockstep loyalty, and treat anyone who disagrees as corrupt or evil.

In their rush to reject progressive garbage, they swallowed the worst of it: the lazy instinct that every messy human fight boils down to tribal identity and raw emotion instead of history, facts, and hard principles.

The irony is thick enough to choke on.
