We never want these situations to happen, yet, need to be prepared when they do. The team leading this work has shaped development of an Emergency response communications approach with sites, preceptors and students as well as emergency preparedness planning for students.
Thanks to preceptors — pharmacists who volunteer to lead students in hands-on learning in their place of work — U of A pharmacy students complete up to 40 weeks of experiential education during the course of their degrees.
