Oregon: The Durkee Fire is now 240,000+ acres and containment still sits at 0%. The size of these Oregon fires continue to grow and impress.

They had 6 new starts from lightning surrounding the Durkee Fire, one being the Thompson Fire which grew to 10,000+ acres. Unified Command is in place with NW Team 6 and the Oregon State Fire Marshall Green Team.

Investigators have asked for the public’s help in looking for individuals who may have started some of these fires in the complex.

This fire makes it to the flat off the south side, there’s a whole lotta nothin but meadow winter feed grounds to stop it with. Please pray for the ranching families, mine included, in Harney county.
