FWIW, the United States of America withdrew from the Anti Ballistic Missile (ABM) Treaty in 2004 while George W. Bush was President… enabling our country’s ABM system to go operational.

We’ve had an exoatmospheric kinetic energy missile defense system in place for decades… and our capabilities are being enhanced and have been continuously updated. Lasers are an integral part of that capability.

America, we sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm!

Buckminster Fuller once opined that America’s greatest strength is its ability to emerge from an emergency.

In 1776, things looked perilous and all but lost for American colonists after their Declaration of Independence from the British Crown and its tyranny. But we emerged victorious!

In 1812, after the British resolved to retake our country, sending the world’s mightiest Army & Navy to force their will on We The People, and burned the White House to the ground in 1814, England’s Army was soundly beaten and returned to England. Once again, America emerged Victorious!

In 1863, our nation’s Union, and ‘The Cause’ in particular, looked all but lost in the American Civil War. But we stood strong to emerge united and victorious!

In 1941, after the devastating attack on Pearl Harbor—fully two years into World War II—things looked hopeless in the Pacific and throughout Europe, and many called for reaching a peaceful, diplomatic solution with the Axis Powers. But we engaged and emerged… victorious!

Buckminster Fuller was right, then and now. We only lose our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness when we surrender!

America… anybody else notice that, in the aftermath of yesterday’s elections and GOP losses, there are no riots, no statues being toppled, no vandalism and torching of public buildings, no strikes, no Conservatives screaming or posting death threats or demanding prison sentences for prominent Democrats or anyone else for that matter.

Ask yourself why?

Because that’s not who and what We are… and Marxist-Progressives have proven they can make no such claim!

The sun will rise and set tomorrow, and every day thereafter, as it always has. The earth will periodically experience global warming and cooling, as it always has. And there’s nothing we can do to change those events. What we can do is carry on and work towards a better future for all Americans… not just the ones who scream, shout or whine the loudest.

Because… that’s who We are! 😉

For the same reason that the Bolsheviks overthrew the Czar in the Russian Revolution of 1917, after which they hunted down and murdered the Czar’s entire family, disposed of their bodies in shallow forest graves, went on to murder tens of millions of Russian citizens, and set up gulags where millions more were starved and worked to death… because THEY could and that’s who THEY are!

Victory is a matter of opportunities clearly seen and swiftly exploited. That simple statement is true on battlefields and no less true in politics and people’s daily lives.

It should be obvious that Democrats saw and exploited issues affecting average citizens’ lives, and even if some of their concerns and fears were only perceptions… for them, perception is reality! President Clinton nailed it in ‘92 when he said, “It’s the economy, stupid!”

Where we go from here is up to all of us… and the answer cannot be a repeat of the last six years.
