The High Court has told the Attorney General that Okiya Omtatah is raising a very important matter on Odious debts that cannot be dismissed using funny applications. Okiya is seeking a court declaration that Kenyans have fully paid their debts and what they are currently servicing are odious debts they never incurred. The matter proceeds to full hearing.

Yesteday, parents who have lost their children in Russia petitioned the Senate, pleading for help to repatriate their bodies and give them a decent send-off.

How reckless can a government be with public spending, yet turn around and tell grieving parents that there is no money to bring their children home?

Article 35 (3): The State SHALL publish and publicise any important information affecting the nation.

Disclosure of information is a Constitutional imperative not something left to the whims of one person. The era of secretive deals negotiated in the dark will end when we kick this current regime out and return our country back to the rule of Law.
