@Trionyx27@heckinepicbacon@StygianAdara@LeadFaun@HuntressSellia From what I remember Ranni prefers the moon as a master over the Greater Will because it's indifferent to the world. Unlike the other outer gods which are very interested in directly interfering with it.
@Lag_Incarnate@crazy_mimic I thought the implication was that Susie and Ralsei's healing magic was basically the same. It's just that Susie can throw it as a projectile which can reach inside the person to heal from there, which works better for internal injuries I guess.
@cosmicrescend0@GOOMYLOID Maybe because of the meta nature of the game people are far too aware that these are NPCs but people like Goomy who treat it more like a book's story with fully understandable characters do better because Toby Fox is a good writer and does think about these characters in that way
The biggest possible flaw in their relationship (Noelle idealizing an idea of Susie in her head instead of the real one) was just resolved in chapter 5. They're essentially flawless right now. Only thing I see going wrong is Susie inviting her to the dark world with Rudy dying.
@AlexTheGS13@valeriousval@tabnk2@euclicide Its not a stupid misdirection its just setting up a plot twists. Toby is chronically online he knows very well that the most popular theories are in the fandom. Throwing stuff like that could just be trying to throw the fandom off the trail. It didn't really change much though.
@AlexTheGS13@valeriousval@tabnk2@euclicide I've never treated it like its canon, I've been entertaining other theories too. It just seems obvious to me that Dess Knight is far and away the most likely theory with the sheer amount of evidence it fits and this chapter didn't really change that.
@AlexTheGS13@valeriousval@tabnk2@euclicide As for 2 and 3, we can't know but there are countless explanations that could fit easily into Dess Knight. Like maybe she was just confused and rampaged when she became the knight and left shards? We know barely anything about the circumstances. None of that disproves Dess knight
@AlexTheGS13@valeriousval@tabnk2@euclicide Yes, the whole point of that scene was to make us assume the Knight made that dark world but that doesn't mean we should take the implication at face value. Toby has made misleading implications before. Remember when we named the "human" in undertale and assumed it was Frisk?
@theWyzmeister@dannithe2st@DezziVezzi Kris knows who the knight is, and actively gatekeeps us from finding out who it is (the knight helmet scene). Susie was speculating on who it had to be in chapter 4 "someone connected to police, someone who goes to church". They don't care about it as much as us but they do care.
@AlexTheGS13@valeriousval@tabnk2@euclicide but that could easily be explained as dess dissapearance and her becoming the knight being the same event. Nothing would contradict that.
@AlexTheGS13@valeriousval@tabnk2@euclicide I don't understand how its "retarded" that Dess simply made a dark world and got lost in it and became the Knight in the same day. Asgore just assumes that the knight made that first fountain because he found the black shard there. He never actually saw what happened.
@TheSalamiL1d@euclicide There has to be because people think the voice in the code is Dess too so that will have to be explained, also considering the shapeshifting she's obviously not a normal Lightner anymore.
@CharChipz_ I mean Kris does share a room with their brother with no dividers or anything. If they were born afab that would be a bit weird especially as they got older.
@sola_reclipse@pump_upthejam_ This got pretty much disproven because when you try to imagine the knight, it shows you a vision of taking off its helmet and then Kris thinks of Jockington to stop you from seeing who it is. If it was nobody we knew there's not point to doing that.
@cheezegamerboi@FoursideKM But I agree that Kriss helping this Amalgamate knight wouldn't work if they had any idea what the Knight is, because Kriss would never support anything coming from the Weird route. And it seems like Kriss knows exactly who and what the knight is so that's a big flaw with it.
@cheezegamerboi@FoursideKM I think its a very far fetched theory but just to play devil's advocate, it could be that their goals simply align. If Kriselle are the knight it could make sense that their goal is to find Dess, just like Carol. Which is why they're working together and why Kriss is helping them
@BerriesNotNice@Humerusskelly I entertained WeirdKnight for awhile but it just doesn't make sense when you consider
1. Kris knows who the knight is
2. is willing working with the Knight.
This wouldn't make sense if the Knight is some product of the weird route since Kris is entirely against abusing Noelle.
