Little late getting to this, but what a king. Courageous truth-telling. There’s no way he didn’t know the weeping and gnashing of teeth his words would cause, yet he said them anyway. We should all go and do likewise. God bless him.
Read a student's paper on Adoniram Judson last night before going to bed.
Talk about being convicted for how much we in our modern day complain against God's providence.
I am a wimp.

I am reminded of an incident in, I believe, 2016. I was in the middle of the Mt. Evans Hill Climb race in Colorado, one of the most grueling climbs you will ever do (finish line: 14,130 ft. above sea level). I came up behind a guy who had something on his jersey that I commented on. We started "chatting," that is, between gasping for air anyway. When he asked what I did a conversation ensued about faith. He was a Jewish atheist. He said that one of his biggest stumbling blocks with the Scriptures was Abraham and Isaac. I remember saying to him, "If I didn't know this was a picture of what would happen on that very mount in the sacrifice of Jesus, the Messiah, I would struggle with it too."
On June 27, 1819, after six hard years of ministry in Burma, Judson baptized his 1st convert.
Don't give up ministering the gospel when the work is hard.
God is at work, even when you can't see it.
