Catchers getting that work in

Here’s a machine transfer progression we utilize on throwing days.

- Start with alligator arm transfers focusing on letting the ball travel as long as possible and making a clean transition from glove to hand in front of our chest.

- Next we turn 45 degrees and do the same thing with the upper body but we now implement getting our right foot in the ground as fast as possible.

- Now we stand and implement both drills. A high focus here on letting the momentum of the ball bring you into the turn on to the back foot. Utilizing the left knee and left elbow to bring you into back foot strike.

- Our last drill is utilizing a connection ball to block any reach with the glove hand. We stay in regular stance here and try and be as fast as possible.
