Today was all about building a community within our groups that sit together. They definitely used some of their 5c's while creating a name for their table, seeing which table could build the tallest tower using Plus Plus manipulatives, and exploring next week's morning tubs!
Today was a great day meeting so many families and students! Between babies and Covid it's been a while since I've had a normal school year and I'm so ready for this year to begin!

We had a great two days using Lego Spike to create amusement park rides that demonstrate how objects move. Thank you @mrschelsiegrant and @CSLCPS for leading this activity!
Learning about coding with an "unplugged" activity. One partner had to write the code and the other had to follow the directions to see if their partner kept them on the right path. #hourofcode@SullyES_LCPS
This morning we made a kindness as part of our SEL lesson. Students all passed the yarn and said a kind thing to one of their classmates. @SullyES_LCPS
Badge day is my favorite word detective lesson! They are so excited to earn their badges, wonder who from headquarters dropped them off, and wear them proudly! π΅οΈ @SullyES_LCPS
I fell in love with nearpod last year and still love the opportunity to use it in person. The drag and drop feature added this year is a huge enhancement and our first Time to Climb was a hit! @SullyES_LCPS
One thing I missed being DL last year was the amazing coffee cart @KGguarantee's class puts together! These boys did a super job being hosts and explaining all the delicious goodies available! #hotappleciderforthewin@SullyES_LCPS
